Although the vehicle had over 35,000 miles and a few scratches on it at pick up it proved to be a very reliable vehicle. First time I have used Easy Rent Cars but it won't be the last. Keep up the good work and value.

We get up to the booth after waiting almost an hour and the girl asks how many we have in our party. I reply 2 kids and 2 adults. The girl says you are renting this car for 15 days and are going to hate it because it wont fit everything we need. She then says no problem we can give you an SUV. Which sounded great, she did all the paperwork just to find out she tried to charge me an extra 300 dollars as an upgrade fee. I told her that I don't want to spend an extra 300 when I already spent almost 500 on the vehicle already. She then replied all well enjoy the small car that wont fit everybody. I then asked for the manager and he came over and said yup nothing I can do unless you want to pay more money and then left. They said I already got "too good of a deal online that they cant do anything for me". I asked if I could cancel my rental and they told me to call online because that's who I booked through. Absolutely Terrible customer Service.

During drop off, we discovered we were incorrectly charged for liability waivers. The Advantage manager Yemane Hagos quickly issued the refunds.

Extra charge for spouse is very bad. No others do this!!! Also, I rented a RAV4 or equivalent and the Mitsubichi offered had much less storage capacity and would not hold the luggage so had to upgrade. Very disappointing

Everything was great - except we were told we would have a free second driver and were charged. The only way to be refunded was to go down to the main counter - which was very inconvenient when trying to get an international flight with 3 small children. I would have given 10/10 but I felt not being refunded was unfair.

I am not from Florida and didn’t know I had to turn the SunPass off. I told the staff when I picked up the vehicle that I would be paying the tolls (total about $10 for the week). Because I didn’t turn off the pass, I was told I would either have to pay $10 per day I had the car (it ended up being $112 Canadian dollars) or pay an exuberant amount more because I’d pay a penalty of $25 per till. I should have just been charged at most for the 2 days I used the pass (to and from airport) at the very most given that I didn’t want the pass to begin with. Your staff needs to do a better job of explaining how the SunPass works. Their lack of communication cost me over $100

When arriving at service desk to collect I was asked if I needed tolls paid upfront. I explained where I was staying and only travelling local except for a few days.
I was told tolls were all around the area of my villa and be going through 3 regularly.
I was told $9.99 a day which seemed high, however had bumped charges for extra taxes etc that accumulated a lot higher.
This took advantage of me after a long travel day.
I was only told negatives of not taking the pass by being told if I passed a toll and not paid I would be charged $25 admin on each toll.
I was also told horror stories of people being faced with hundreds of pounds bills on return to uk from tolls and charges.
I had pages and pages of document on a small pad to try and read and was rushed through as the service attendant was constantly having calls from someone to log out of the system. He said he was just finishing dealing with me and they rang yet again. I felt pushed into this which is very unfair and took advantage.

Advantage customer care was awful.
Vehicle broke down the following day.
Spent an absolute age on the phone and the supervisor at Advantage was very rude. Apparently could not understand my ‘accent’.
I could not understand her and it seemed to me her English was not very good.
I spent 3hours in Universal’s car park waiting for assistance.
I eventually got a replacement vehicle, but I have to say that neither the original or replacement vehicle were not very clean. Stained upholstery on both cars.
These are the worst vehicles I have ever rented in the US in the 20 years I have been visiting.

Car was great. Clean, tidy, minor marks that I pointed out but they really weren’t that bothered on drop off. Pick up less than an hour. Guy on desk tried to up sell a few items like pre paid tolls which I didn’t need and luckily didn’t take. Up sold fuel, which suited me, cheap enough at $42. On site at airport so easy to find. Excellent experience, would use again.

Ordered a Intermediate SUV and ended up with a 7 seater People Carrier.
Upon returning the vehicle, filled up at a Gas station 5 miles from Airport. Waited 30 minutes for person to check vehicle and was charged U$ 15.00 because needle was not over the Full. Attendant was very rude and did not listen when told that vehicle was filled up 5 mile ago. Absolutely outrageous behaviour from this attendant.

When I picked the car up the attendant stated the car was in perfect condition, this was not correct, I found the rear off side light cluster to be broken, there was a big dent in the front off side hood, the front near side bumper had come away from the clips which meant it was forward of its original position, there was a small dent in the near side rear door, and other little marks which all had to be reported to the attendant before I moved the vehicle. If I and my wife had not noticed these indentations and damage I could have been blamed for them which in turn could have cost us a lot of money, I strongly suggest your vehicles are correctly checked BEFORE being given to a customer. Otherwise the car performed most adequately and was extremely good on fuel, (which I left half a tank in).

Car was terrible. Was a diesel so finding a gas station to fill up was hard. The heat did not work, the plugs in car did not work, and the check engine light was on pretty much since after we pulled out.

Guy at counter said card would be charged $200 deposit, then tried charging $440 to card, when questioned he said I had NO insurance cover for vehicle, a lie as after insisting that I was not paying a Dollar more than I had pre paid he the printed out thecontract which showed the cover paid for. I got an Intermediate car not the Compact booked but probably only because it was out of state registered and had body damage on the drivers door. Trying to find the Advantage section in the garage takes ages as the signage is useless. Counter staff need to tell you how to find the car not try ripping you off with lies. A crap company I will be reluctant to use again.

I was told that the vehicle was upgraded I said I didn't want to pay for an upgrade. I was assured it was for the same price. Yet to confirm that as not yet seen my bank statement. I was told I needed more insurance and the gas tank filled option. So giving me an upgrade weakened my resistance.

On collection the type of car rented not available offered upgrade to salon wanted a higher car for ease of getting in and out which was unavailable.They then tried very hard to sell me extra 3rd party insurance at 14£ a day for 30days this selling pressure after a long flight I could have done without.The attitude of the staff was very poor then had to go to other terminal to pick up car I will definitely never use advantage again.I have been visiting USA for 30years and this was the worst rental company I have ever had the misfortune to book with

Our overall review on the hire company during my stay was very good.
I was dealt efficiently at the desk and returning the car was simple.
Now I've returned to the UK my opinion has completely changed.
At the desk I was asked if I required any further excess insurance but I told the agent that I already had that cover through a company in the UK.
He seemed fine with that.
At that point he asked me to sign the paperwork but unbeknown to me I was signing for the Excess Insurance which I had already told him was not required.
At no point did he explain about the insurance so I'd been tricked into buying this cover.
An obvious case of misselling but no doubt a good commission for him.
The rental car fuel policy was full to full which is normal practice.
He recommended that I pay for a full tank of fuel at approx $40 so that I could bring back the vehicle empty with no extra cost.
That way when I came to fill up towards the end of the vacation it would be far cheaper than if I had to refill myself-another blatant lie as I filled up on a number of occasions in various parts of Florida and never cost me more than $30.
Sounds like another little scam for the rental company.
I wasn't of course aware of any of these issues until I returned to the UK.
I'm now faced with a bill of $419.72 for Excess Insurance which I'm contesting.
Unfortunately their malpractice has spoilt what was a wonderful vacation.
