FRANKFURT CAR RENTAL REVIEWS

Since we arrived in Frankfurt on an early flight, there were two groups before us, and we waited for a while. I had booked a seven-seater car. The customer service offered us a five-seater Volvo going back to Zurich with a 450 Euro one-way rental fee if we were willing. Considering our comfort, we decided to stick with the seven-seater we originally booked.

Good service attitude, no need to wait in line

Very easy to find the rental location. Although there were many renters, the process went very smoothly.

I went there right when they opened in the morning; their service attitude was excellent.

They could not provide the vehicle as per the contract and transferred us to AVIS, promising to refund any extra costs. In reality, we incurred significant losses and the other party did not offer any compensation.

Very good attitude

The attitude was very poor. They did not have the automatic car we reserved, only a manual one. I booked the car six months in advance. They were unapologetic about the lack of cars. We waited for three hours, and they still couldn't confirm if a car was available. Very disappointing.

I hope everyone can be punctual. Arriving on time at the counter will be quick, usually within 15 minutes. The counter staff is friendly and not verbose. Once asked if you bought full insurance, they won't recommend it again. I walked from the long-distance train station to terminal 1 to pick up the car. The route is a bit long, but there are many signs. If you plan to go to another country, be sure to mention it in advance. It should be noted on the receipt and the fee charged. Otherwise, you need to find a Hertz location near Germany to add to the contract before leaving the country, which can be inconvenient.

Had to wait quite a while. The pickup location is a bit far, and you have to find the car yourself.

Out of nowhere, they requested some number, and even after calling the car rental customer service, they couldn't figure out what number it was. It took more than half an hour without providing any number before the rental was completed. I still don't understand the whole situation!

Like: Car in excellent conditions, larger than expected. Not sure if it was an upgrade. I booked a compact (Golf) but got a Golf SW. GPS included.
Dislike: Nothing, really.

The pick-up process was quite fast, and they gave us a Skoda. The car was new and had great performance.
