After waiting in line for a long time, it was finally my turn. When I declined the insurance upsell, they informed me that there were no cars available due to overbooking and asked me to come back around 8 or 9 the next morning. Please note, it was already past 11 PM in Los Angeles. How could the four of us, including two kids, wait for nine hours in the middle of the night to get a car? I asked if I could cancel the order. The staff said I could, but not directly, as I didn't book through them. I needed the agent (Zuzuche) to cancel the order. I contacted Zuzuche to request a full refund, and they said it would take 10-20 business days. Today is August 9th, almost a full month later, and despite countless follow-ups, I still haven’t received it. Each time I have to re-explain the issue to customer service. Their responses are always polite but unhelpful, full of empty promises and lacking any progress updates.
I randomly filled in the car model during pickup since I didn’t get the car. It wouldn’t let me submit the review without filling it in.
My flight to Los Angeles landed at midnight, and there were no signs or people to guide me on how to pick up the car at the airport. When I finally got to the car rental location in Los Angeles, I had to wait in line until 3:30 AM to get the car. The waiting time was too long, and the car I received was old and in poor condition, not the one I had selected. It was a terrible car rental experience.
Overall satisfied. One day, the car key got locked inside the car. The rental store staff said they didn't have a spare key and advised me to call and pay 130 on my own.

First of all, I felt that the service wasn't very good and communication was difficult. When returning the car, I couldn't find any staff and there were no service terms provided. Overall, my experience was quite unsatisfactory. Secondly, the daily mileage limit was only 100 miles, which I found insufficient for Los Angeles. Additionally, it took three days after returning the car to get in touch with a staff member to refund my deposit. Overall, I am not satisfied and I hope my comments are helpful to you.
Despite informing the rental company that full insurance had been purchased through the platform, I was still charged an additional $200 for insurance. Throughout the whole process, I did not see any insurance terms or contract details provided by them. The credit card signature was taken as agreement to their terms, and the fee was non-refundable. Consider this a lesson learned and a tuition fee for everyone. Let's be more vigilant in the future.
The car was a Chevrolet pickup (not in the options), less premium, with low-grade interior and features. Waiting in line for 3 hours to pick up the car was frustrating. For extending the rental, it requires a personal call for confirmation as the automated voice system is incomprehensible.
I clearly told the staff not to add any additional charges. I was going to refuel the car myself. However, the staff still added the charges and deducted over $180 from me, and I haven't received any response yet.
This company is shameless. They charged me $17 even though I returned the car with a full tank, and unfortunately, I didn't take a photo. Additionally, they charged me $35 for a towing service they claimed I added during the rental. Ridiculous!
The counter staff deliberately delay and forcefully sell insurance, toll cards, and model upgrades. This rental company's counter has the most staff in the same hall, but they are the slowest. On average, each customer, even those who have made an online reservation and paid for full insurance, faces intentional delays of over 40 minutes. If no additional purchases are made, the staff I encountered falsely claimed there were no cars available and that I needed to wait around 2 more hours. Later, I found out there were actually more than 20 cars of the same model available. This is an extremely poor rental company with terrible service. I will never choose this rental company again. I wish to file a complaint against the staff and the rental company.
El servicio de Fox Rent a Car fue impresionantemente malo. La señorita que entregaba el auto (trenzas largas) fue muy falta de respeto cuando le pedí que se apuren un poco porque estaba apurado (en general el auto casi siempre está listo para retiro)
