We had to wait in line for over an hour. The man who helped us wasted lots of our time, made us feel bad for not buying their gas, wouldn't believe me when I told him we had insurance already. Made me call my insurance guy but then wouldn't talk to him to confirm my insurance. Pushed and pushed us to buy their insurance, even though I already had my own.
Only downside was that the shuttle upon arrival took over 30 minutes to pass by and pick us up. But that seemed to be an issue that day and I did get an upgrade.
The whole experience was the worst thing ever. The bus in the airport dropped me off at a parking lot then from there I got into a shuttle bus to get to the car rental place. I was then checked in by a rep via an iPad which made me feel uncomfortable. I had to tell him all my info again and show him my credit card. I was told I had to buy additional insurance which added $100 to my total sum. if I had known this before hand I would not have booked. I then was sent to another rep to sign my contract agreement. After that I saw another rep to process my payment, but why did the virtual rep want my credit card info when we initiated and the exp date?! I felt like I was juggled around too much, the whole experience was very impersonal. I felt I did not get the value for my money. I wold never use or recommend this company again. I feel I should get a portion of my money reimbursed.
Very slow pickup by the shuttle. I watched multiple shuttles go by for the competing brands before 1 FOX shuttle finally showed up. At least a 20 minute wait.
Check in was quick with no one in line, friendly staff.
After check in had to wait another 10 minutes for the car to be brought up for me to accept.
Terrible service, car hadmt been cleaned.
When we returned it I left my tablet in there with valuable photos. I called an hour later and they said they couldn’t find it so one of their employees checking the car will have taken it for themselves I would never use thrifty again.
The car was so old we had to manually roll up the windows, there was no Bluetooth, the car was dirty, and the rep said don’t bring the car back smelling like smoke but it already smelled like smoke. There were no arm rests, and that was crucial giving our 4 hour drive to vegas.

I've had the most unpleasant experience during the process of picking up the car. First, It was supposed to be all paid for (I made the reservation through Easyrentcars). The booking clearly said: "amount due to at pick up: U$S 0.00". But out of the blue, the gentleman who received me, told me I had to pay U$S 29 (more or less, I can't recall exactly). After several times I said I didn't have to pay anything, finally I had to accept this unfair charge in order to get the car. Secondly, he told me that the model I booked, wasn't available (Toyota Yaris Hybrid, but any other ecological model would have done it) and that I had to pay U$S 90 more for another kind of vehicle. This, I refused and finally got a nice car (but notghing ecological). Finally, I tried several times to explain the gentleman on the front desk that since I paid my booking with Visa Platinum, I ALREADY HAD insurance and (as instructed by VISA), I should decline the insurance they offered me. At this point, the thing got stopped because Jamen (this was his name) told me it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to take the car unless I pay more or less U$S 130 more for the insurance, or even more for the coverage of car malfunction. Finally, I paid more than U$S 200 extra (not included the charge for prepaid fuel, which I don't claim). So I hope and I expect easyrentcars and/or advantage will fill this situacion.
The car was great and price wise everything was fine. However, I was tricked in getting additional services that I figured out later were not necessary.
Convenient shuttle pick up and drop off from the airport was extremely helpful. Friendly staff, easy rental process, and return of vehicle was super easy....made it to the airport in plenty of time.
