The car rental was quite small in terms of space. Unfortunately I left a pair of eyeglasses in the car, and the rental company was nearly impossible to get a hold of. The rental itself was fine, but their customer service when something is lost was mediocre at best.
About QEEQ:10.0/10
Easy to book and the price offered was great as usual.
I booked a 'Mid-to-Full Size SUV - Ford Edge,' but on the day of pickup, only a 'Tesla Model 3' was available. The staff claimed it was an 'upgrade.' Ridiculous! Compare the prices of the two models yourself. Since the rental site didn't have an offer for a Tesla Model 3 and the staff promised I could exchange it in two or three days, I tolerated it.
Three days later, I went to exchange the car and ended up with a 'Compact SUV - RAV4.' The staff still wouldn't admit it was a downgrade. However, both the rental site and Dollar's website list the RAV4 as a 'Compact SUV' and the Ford Edge as a 'Mid-to-Full Size SUV.' A search on any date will show that compact SUVs are priced much lower than mid-to-full size SUVs.

Absolutely loved the vehicle that was selected for us. Choosing the mystery vehicle was perfect for us so we didn’t have to get a second rental. We had lots of space for all our luggage and were all very comfortable during our travels. Just wasn’t happy with a charge per day for each additional driver, was about 30% of our daily rental cost extra to do so.
I often rent cars from them, and it's pretty good. There was an issue with QEEQ's information. I needed to drive to the US to see a friend, and when I explained to the rental company, they just nodded and said it was fine.
It took over an hour to pick up a new rental at the return point. The front desk was slow and inefficient in dealing with issues. Eventually, I got a Hyundai Venue, which was a downgrade. After spending more than an hour at the front desk, I didn't have the energy to argue further on the spot.
After the rental period ended, I filed a complaint through the app. However, the rental company denied the downgrade. This is clearly a lie. In terms of vehicle positioning, length, space, and power, the Venue is a subcompact SUV. It cannot be compared to compact SUVs like the Jeep Compass, RAV4, or CRV. You can easily verify the Vehicle's category. The user experience clearly shows the difference.
I rented a mid-sized sedan (Camry) from the same company using another app and was given an Elantra, again a downgrade. It seems that DOLLAR frequently downgrades vehicles.
Some people might overlook a few days of downgrades, but I cannot. The description clearly stated a five-seater, with a trunk that can fit three 24-inch suitcases. I have used compact SUVs like the RAV4, and they meet this condition perfectly. However, the car I received couldn't even fit two 24-inch suitcases, and additional luggage had to be placed on the back seats. I didn't need to seat five people on this trip, but what if I had to? The car's performance was poor, with no acceleration beyond 100 km/h even with the pedal to the floor. It was infuriating to drive, and I decided to file a complaint immediately. Anyone who has driven a Venue would understand how bad it is.
Be cautious with DOLLAR. I have already filed a complaint with their headquarters via email. I am very disappointed with this rental company. If you encounter any problems, filing a complaint through the rental app is basically useless. Choose wisely, choose wisely.
