The vehicle wasn't checked for ADBLUE upon delivery, which caused it to not start. The roadside assistance was extremely slow and poor – waited 5 hours. They claimed to have emergency assistance, but I had to call a taxi myself and was promised reimbursement which never happened.

Branch staff were amazing, spoke fantastic English, extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The car was very new and in great condition. No hidden extras or hard-sale of insurances. Everything was perfect.

Sicily by Car was forcing me to buy additional insurance after I repeatedly told them that I already had purchased extended insurance. The attendant then informed me that I had to put an $800 hold on my car. At that point I decided to walk away and not rent the car with them. This ruined my plans to visit Tuscan wineries. Never again!

Extremely slow service, it took two hours after arriving to finally get the car. No easily visible signs anywhere at MXP, which made both pickup and drop off even more frustrating.

We paid in full for this car, but when we arrived at the rental location, they had rented the car to someone else without contacting us. They forced us to pay an extra €141 for a different car, a Peugeot, which was worse than the Ford! The reason given was that we were late! There was no prior notice that the car would not be held if we were late. They just wanted to charge more money! I just want to ask, if I book a hotel room at full price and arrive late, is the hotel room given to someone else?

Very poor service, changed the car three times, all had issues, and the vehicles were very outdated, over 80,000 kilometers, noisy, and extremely dirty inside.

Everything was great. They didn’t try to hard sell the additional insurance. They did go over the car with a fine toothed comb but I didn’t have any damage. Staff was nice enough.

The lady who helped us when we switched cars was very nice and even showed us the way to the parking lot.

I dropped my earphones in the car, and they refused to return them. The service attitude during pickup and drop-off was poor; there was impatience due to the language barrier. They push their insurance in the store, and it's awkward if you refuse.

Great car for the value. My only complaint is that at time of pickup staff would not take no for not wanting additional insurance. They added on even after me telling them I did not want several times. At that time it was already a long time and I just wanted to get the car and go on my way that I didn't want to spend another 30 min waiting for them to reverse the charge on my credit card.

The company is very popular. Other car rental counters were very empty, but there was a line at Sicily's counter. The staff displayed typical Italian efficiency - slow and unhurried. It took two hours to complete the process, but they didn't try to upsell any insurance, which was nice. However, when picking up the car, I found out they gave me a manual car, and I had to go back downstairs to exchange it. The staff weren't apologetic at all and even asked if I didn't know how to drive a manual. Overall, the cost-performance ratio was okay.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Pick up and return was fast and efficient. Vehicle was as booked with some slight damage pointed out on pick up. Would highly recommend

No water in the windscreen washer and the windscreen not so clean. Great not to be hassled about insurance, my own insurance happily accepted at the pick up desk.
