EASIRENT CAR RENTAL REVIEWS

We had a little trouble figuring out where to meet the shuttle to the pick-up point but we eventually figured it out with a couple phone calls to the Easirent people. I called again before we dropped the car off to inquire about tolls and they were able to help as well. However, in each phone call, they were in a hurry to get off the phone which meant I had to repeat my questions because they didn’t take the time to listen the first time.

The agent on site, Robert, despite making me wait 15 minutes at the airport for pick-up, was pleasant when I picked up the car, presumably as he was trying to up sell me all the various extras. The same individual was a completely different character when I dropped the car off. When inspecting the car, he almost immediately pointed out a scratch on the back-left wheel arch which he conveniently failed to find when I picked up the car. His immediate reaction when I said the scratch was did not occur during my rental was that it was not on the check-in sheet, therefore I was liable for the repair, and would therefore lose my €2,100 excess. The speed at which he went for the back-left wheel arch suggests he knew the scratch was there already. Presumably he is on commission to encourage him to charge customers. Luckily for me, I took photos of the car when I picked it up so I was able to clearly show that the scratch was on the car prior to my rental, much to his visible disappointment. The car I rented had numerous scratches on it. It was not cleaned properly ahead of my rental, inside or out. The attitude of the agent was abysmal. The fact he attempted to scam me out of my full €2,100 deposit left me feeling indignant. In future I won’t make the same mistake by using Easirent. I’ll be sure to use Thrifty, Budget or one of the other more reputable rental companies. I’ve been renting cars regularly for 15 years and I’ve never had such bad service. Honestly speaking this place is some sort of a SCAM. I had clearly Third Party Insurance and Zero Excess included in my rental voucher, while it took a long time to release the vehicle. I had to seek easyrentcar's assistance. Luckily they were very helpful and have supported me during the process, so I got the car finally released. However, I'm sorry to type that but I can't recommend Easirent rental agency. They do not respect the booking conditions and, by the way, their cars are not in that good condition either.

Absolutely great. So I got a great price and great assistance when it was needed. I was surprised by the engagement that the booking agency had in resolving my problem. Five-star service.

Unfortunately, they didn’t have the exact car available that I had booked but when I explained that I needed lots of space to go camping, the provided a vehicle which was even better for the job.

6 am open was too late for shuttle transfer to airport

I got a confirmation that I had my hire car. Then called them after my flight and they said they had no cars. I had to call my brokers. It was a nightmare.

Car was ok, process was miserably slow and awful, ruined our evening. If I had needed to be somewhere that night besides the grocery store to get supplies, I would have demanded a refund and screamed until I got one.

Rude unfriendly staff. Systems down but no alternate way to complete the booking. Waited for 2 hours and then had to cancel. They were unfriendly were looking forward to cancel the booking. Huge queue

The staff was friendly. The person driving the courtesy bus was somewhat reckless speeding through traffic. The vehicle was given to me very dirty on the outside. It should have been washed in order to see the damages better.

The hire company did not release the car to me as they would not accept my credit card, also they tried to withdraw 1800 dollars from my credit card before agreeing to release the car even though my contract said it would be less than 300 dollars. Ended up being left stranded miles from my destination and had to pay a $90 uber to get there and having to book another car later on which cost me another 200 dollars. The staff at Easirent Orlando are the worst kind of people I have ever met and should not in such a customer service focused role. Couldnt care less about anyone, everyone in the queue in front of me were having similar issues regarding insurance and the hard sale on EZ passes at an exorbitant $10 a day, even lying that the tolls no longer accepted cash. Never again will I book a car from Easirent in Orlando and will be contacting EasyRentCars in due course to seek a full refund.

Landing at NCL with 6 people, 1 with a child seat, it's not too convenient for the driver to go to the Ponteland office then drive back to collect everyone. Why not bring the car to the airport?

This company is HORRIBLE! Don’t ever rent from this company EVER! The pick up location is a bus ride and then another bus ride to the place (we took a cab there and Lyft back to airport). The car was in terrible shape, dents everywhere, window had been broken into previously and was rusted. The inside of the car was so dirty and disgusting. The customer service was terrible as they made me pay $60 extra for more insurance even though I had my own. They told me I didn’t have enough for Florida, which is BS since I’ve rented cars many times on FLA before. Don’t be fooled by the low price, go anywhere else but here.

Had to call 2 times and wait for ~1 hour for pickup. Drop off back to the airport was another 3 min wait. Not acceptable.

The staff at the pick up were quite rude. Car was not washed. Staff at drop off in Exeter were very helpful

Called upon arrival as asked, found driver had left without us as he had no room, so waited 30 mins for his return. then realized why he had no room, was driving normal car! So then my family of 5 had to drive illegally (4 in the back) to pick up site. told they had hired the normal pick up van out, although not sure that true as it was sitting round the back of the office. delays also caused by only 2 staff doing driving, check-in and cleaning. Drop off no better, only 1 staff member this time so further delays of nearly an hour - leave yourself loads of time if you are unfortunate enough to use this bunch of clowns!

We paid in full for car and insurance at the time of booking. Once we arrived the counter staff demanded we pay another 295 pounds for the rental. They said we paid a "broker" and not them. So all together we paid over 500 pounds for our rental. This was not a good start to our holiday. We would not use them again.

We waited for almost 40 minutes for the van to pick us up . When it arrived people were getting off and were extremely upset, saying they were at the pickup location for 2 hours and still didn't get a car. The van driver called the office and my wife talked to the lady there questioning the line there and the lack of cars available and the lady said that they had issues there and would credit our rental charge. That didn't help us with a rental car @ 10:00 P.M. We found another car for over double the cost and finally went on our way. That was the worst car rental experience we've ever had. NEVER AGAIN!
