La voiture que l'on m'a donné sentait très fort le tabac, tout l'intérieur était sale, taché il y avait des cendres partout. Je ne parle même pas de l'extérieur, sale, tellement sale qu'on ne voyait pas les rayures si nombreuses! La voiture n'avait pas été lavée depuis des mois!!!! Le véhicule était extrêmement abîmé.
Je loue souvent des voitures avec d'autres loueurs, je n'avais jamais eu une voiture dans cet état!!
The reservation was for "Small SUV" Opel Mokka or similar. Unfortunately I was provided with a regular car and Interrent argued that the car is in the category of small SUV which was not true. They didn't have any SUV to offer. Citroen C4 Cactus is not SUV in my opinion.
I think you get what you pay for and it was very good value for money, however there is a very hard sell that you need to take out their insurance despite that we had taken separate insurance. You also have to give a credit card with a Euro 1000 deposit as I did not take the insurance. Also the fuel is a slight of hand and you will pay £22.50 for returning with a full tank ie which is still a cheaper option than returning empty. Car had about 20 points of damage which I had to record before taking the car, at the time I was picking up the car it was late at night and the car parking was poorly lit so it was difficult to access the condition of the car. I moved to a better lit area and took photos.
About the car: The car was in very poor general condition, noisy, noisy steering wheel, the rear bumper was previously damaged, terrible sound system ...
About Drop-Off: It was my first time at Girona airport. When I arrived to leave the car, I made a mistake when entering the wrong building, where I immediately drove the car to the exit. What was my fright when I discovered that I should park the car and walk to the terminal to pay for the ticket so I could leave the building. Terrible, but could be the worst. After wasting enough time to do it just to leave the place, when I had hit the parking barrier again, the barrier just did not recognize my paid ticket! It was getting late to go on my flight. I asked someone to help me through the barrier phone. I waited 10 minutes until a man appeared on a bicycle, he tried to make my ticket work for a few minutes, it did not work, and he took my ticket and the bike and disappeared. I waited more than 15 minutes, alone in the barrier, and at this point I was very late. So I parked the car in the 14D space and ran to the InterRrent counter to leave the car key. The guy who gave me the keys two days before was there. I explained what happened and the guys at the accountant told me to go back and take the car and go down to the right building. Same??? After this adventure I ran to the plane where I was the last one to enter before the doors closed.
I've traveled around the world for the past 15 years, and it was my worst experience with a rental car.
We received an email a few hours after picking up car asking us to indicate scratches etc but on vacation we have no printer , we were debited nearly 300 euros and were supposed to receive an email 4 hours after drop off indicating our reimbursement but 3 days after we still don't have any indication on reimbursement and nothing on our account . Salesperson for drop off didn't help us at all. Big disappointment on this company
Worst vehicle condition ever! Can told that I damages below 5 cm do not need to be recorded, after return charged 120 Euro! A SCAM! Never use Internet again!!!!

Specifically booked for an on-airport vehicle rental only to discover the booking had been passed on to another company 'Gold Cars' who have an awful customer satisfaction record. Had to locate a waiting minibus and shuttled offsite to their depot a few km away. Vehicle ok but they then tried to get us to pay extra insurance which wasn't compulsory and I had already purchased a one-off policy from a UK company to cover any excess. They then made us pay a "Diesel Tax". Checked this out on the Gold Cars website and this should only be paid if you specifically request a diesel (which we didn't). Tried to get a refund when vehicle returned but was told to take it up with the Co I booked through - I look forward to hearing from you!!!
Had to wait around for a while for the return shuttle back to the airport. Shuttle bus consequently full and boot overfilled resulting in a dented case. Not happy!

Was not located in terminal as stated but involved a shuttle-bus to a different location. Not a problem but I specifically chose it for the in-airport location. Disappointing.
Weird fuel policy. You pay a fee at pickup, then they refund you depending on how much fuel is left in the tank. How they calculate it accurately is debatable.
The car was good but there was extra charge which we were not made aware on booking. We paid the amount mentioned and expected that to be the full price but was charged 20euro for cleaning the car which we were only made aware of during picking up the car.
We would have been fine if this was mentioned at booking but was not made aware at all and also the car was handed back fairly cleanly that other car rentals would have not charged extra for feels like this is added on to all purchases unless you buy a 9eur cleaning service during check-in mind you this is when you have no choice as you have already made your booking and payment.
The car rental place was impossible to find. We spent 1.5 hours around the airport went to the car rental place where all the companies were present but couldn't find any signs of interrent, the location provided to us in the email took us to a completely different place no where near where these guys were located and the phone number provided was going to voice mail through out.
Finally found out that interrent was the europcar stall at the car rental place with no signs anywhere expect at the desk in one corner. Unless you knew europcar were the parent company which we know now you would struggle to find them.
Plus d'une heure pour récupérer la voiture, aucune mention sur le bordereau.
Nous faisons remontés les bretelles au retour.
Soit disant pas de problème sur le retoue
Pour se faire débiter 195 euros pour un ailerons abimé
On a fait des photos de la voiture et même une video
C'est du n'importe quoi!!!!!!!!! La voiture n'avait rien........ Nous DEMANDONS LE REMBOURSEMENT, C'EST INADMISSIBLE
The woman on the desk hardly spoke english, she didn't give proper instructions to find the car and it took us an hour to find it despite asking 3 times, then I found that she charged me again for the rental even though I had already pre-paid and I have not had that money back yet!

Tout s'est déroulé parfaitement et rapidement, pour ce qui est de la réservation.
Terrible staff and crooks on counter. They were fighting with every customer asking extras like their insurance and change the price what was originally booked online. We have to pay 280€ instead of 34€ which was booked online. The same was other customers. We were cancelling how ever it was too late at night and had either to stay in a hotel or pay them what they demanded. Terrible company and will never use them again.
