Forced to pay 150 in insurance even though I had already taken out the fully comp option, paid for a smart car which wasn’t available, waited 35 minutes as only one person working who was very rude ! Forced to pay extra or not have the car at all !! BEWARE

I have not received my deposit so I cannot comment on that aspect but its still early days. After some flaffling about they found my booking and received car faily quick. Because I arrived at 3am the directions to head to in terminal counter were incorrect as they are stationed in the early hours in car park area with other rental car firms inside Europcar office. All in all pleased with Interrent.
The customer service on picking up was excellent but unfortunately in less than 24 hours there was am emergency with our mom back home so had to fly back asap. I dropped the car at the level car park I picked up and the guy wasn't very helpful just kept telling me I had to take to 4th floor I tried to explain it was an emergency and we had a flight to get. Attitude wasn't very good at all

Je vous ai déposé une réclamation, et si je n'obtiens pas de remboursement, je vais porter plainte!
Plusieurs amis se sont fait avoir comme moi, ce n'est pas normal !
Inter rent staffs:
- lied to me about the amount of the deposit ( said 1400€ rather than 1089€) and the time they’ll hold the deposit (28 days rather than 5) to sell me a insurance.
- they changed my ”full tank to full tank” contract, already paid, for a “flex” contract with extra fee.
- Told me the insurance I bought when I made the reservation was not really covering the car.
Waited a very long time to be served, even though only 1 person ahead of me in queue. Car hire seemed to be a very long walk, with poor sign posting of location of car hire. They wanted to charge me a £50 penalty as fuel was only 9/10 full, so had hassle of finding petrol station to fill with another £7 of fuel. Would I use them again? Not in Paris because of the wait to collect car.
Wasn’t located in the terminal unlike advertised. Inter rent did not accept my AMEX or my wife’s VISA for the deposit of €1400 and so we were forced to buy an excess waiver (despite having my own insurance) for €180 at the counter. Had we not had a 2 year old with us and had not been waiting over an hour to get the car we would have just left and gone with a more reputable company such as Avis. In the end we paid the money just to put an end to the ordeal
Awful experience avoid this company. I thought we were having airport pick up after scanning all small print we’re lead to believe other wise but when we arrived had to get a bus with 5 bags and a toddler was a nightmare. Then the rude lady behind the desk wanted us to leave a €1400 deposit!!! And she said it takes up to a month to get it back once we return the car. Also wanted €50 deposit for petrol which I’ve never experienced. We complained and she said she won’t give us the car. We were being very civil but she was saying we were shouting which was absurd. They are a complete scam. there’s so many hidden costs involved AVOID AND NEVER EVER AGAIN!!
Attention a ne surtout pas réservé de voiture! C'est un attrape touristes 1 chance sur 2 qui vous demande de payer des frais supplémentaires et je parle pas de 50€ de plus, pour ma part les frais supplémentaires se sont élevé a 360€ !! Il m'ont harcelé et racketté a plusieurs reprises en me disant mots pour mots "sois tu paye sois t'a pas de voiture. "
Au final je me suis retrouvé a la rue dans un pays que je connais pas a 1h du matin!!

Je fais par de mon expérience et je vous conseille vivement de réserver sur Sixt ou directement a l'aéroport de la destination choisie, prix bas avec aucun rackette !
N'existe plus, le box vous indique d'aller au box goldcar qui ont soit disant racheté interrent
la personne voulait m'obliger à prendre des assurances pendant plusieurs minutes, faisant mine que les miennes n'existaient pas, que le bas prix de ma location ne pouvait pas les inclure, après négociation et tentative d'appel au service client du site qui m'avait vendu la location, il a finalement reconnu que mes assurances étaient bonnes et qu'en ce cas il y a aurait une caution sur ma carte, ce que je savais déjà. Il m'a été facturé un flex fuel que je n'avais jamais demandé (18€) mais qui était déjà coché sur son ordinateur, c'est de la vente forcée, j'ai essayé de la faire sauter et puis j'ai lâché l'affaire, je leur ai laissé me la facturer tellement ils me font de la peine à vouloir grappiller des euros...
Id like to have my refund because I didn’t take the car, The receptionist came up with lots of fees and also he ask me for £1.000 for deposit, but online the info was totally different ($300 to $500). I paid for extra insurance and he was asking again for more payments!
Pick up location was incorrect so spent an hour walking round trying to find where i should be!
Helpline number was in Singapore and when connected i was unable to get through to anyone..

Booked the rental for 8 am pick up only to find the office was still closed. Found telephone number on internet as no telephone number, help or advice to be found at the rental cabin. Called interrent and was told in a very dismissive tone, I would just have to wait until the staff got their. Not a good first impression at all. When staff appeared (8:15) no apology or even acknowledgment that I had been waiting for the 8am collection. Was given an upgrade to a “Mitsubishi” which was actually a MG3. No complaint about the car or the value for money but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

The instructions said the office was opposite check in desks 165-170, there are no offices there. Got sent here there and everywhere by staff at Madrid airport and eventually found the office on a different floor! Mentioned this to the man on the counter and he just shrugged and said they knew it was wrong! He was very rude, in a bad mood, unhelpful, not at all friendly, very pushy trying to sell me insurance I already had and told me they were blocking one amount from my card and then blocked more. He also lied to me, telling me the amount would be blocked for 30 days, trying again to get me to sign for the insurance. When I returned the car they confirmed the balance would be unblocked within 2-3 days!
