FRANKFURT CAR RENTAL REVIEWS

Every time I rent a car, the model I need is never available. They always ask customers to pay more for an upgrade. No refunds for downgrades either, totally unfair policies. I suggest blacklisting Europcar.

There weren't many people at the store, so we were helped immediately. The only issue was that they gave us the keys and told us the parking spot number, so we had to find the car ourselves, which took us a while.

Overall satisfied, but didn't get the reserved model.

The rental company's staff had low English proficiency. It is unclear whether they deliberately deceived or if it was an honest mistake. We clearly stated that we only wanted to add GPS and no other extra insurance, but ended up being overcharged by nearly 200 euros. On the day of the rental, we repeatedly confirmed with the staff that the total cost was around 260 euros, but my credit card was charged over 470 euros. I believe the business practices of this rental company are very problematic. I advise others planning to visit Germany not to rent a car from this company.

The rental service agent's attitude changed when they realized I booked through QEEQ.

Poor attitude, the car had issues, and they were annoyed with us. We had a 9 AM reservation but no car was available. Waited 2 hours to get the car.

Does not offer rental models, long waiting time

We were promised a 7-seater MPV, but got a 7-seater SUV instead. With the third row of seats up, we couldn't fit any luggage. They helplessly said there were no other cars available, not Hertz's fault.

Scam company! They charged me an extra day's rent for arriving an hour early. They silently added insurance without informing me. In the end, they charged an extra 200 Euros, which is over 2000 RMB!

I rented a car similar to a Mercedes A-Class, but the store told me they only had a Skoda. They strongly recommended a Mercedes GLC 350 at an additional cost of around 25 euros per day. In the end, I didn't want to delay my trip, so I rented it.

I've always rented from HERTZ, and generally, there are no issues. I've encountered both enthusiastic and average staff, and I've never had to wait in line.
