There was some upselling, witnessed a dispute between a Chinese customer and staff. Accident handling was efficient; we had an accident at the Grand Canyon and needed to switch cars, which was done smoothly at the Las Vegas airport branch without any extra charge.
The service staff at the store was really infuriating. There was a bit of forced selling, asking me to upgrade my insurance. I initially said no, but he directly added it to the bill. Fortunately, I noticed it and saw there was a $200 deposit and $52 insurance charge. I told him I didn't want either of them, and although he reluctantly removed them and gave me a new bill, the bill indicated a $200 charge. But after I signed, I found my credit card was still charged $252. I am so mad. I've had a good impression of Zuzuche, and this is the fifth time renting through them and the fourth with Hertz. This is the first time I've had such an issue. Can someone help me file a complaint? I want my money back, and the receipt is in the pictures attached.
Both pickup and drop-off were very quick. We delayed the car pickup by two hours and correspondingly extended the drop-off, and there were no extra charges. After clarifying the unclear fees, we were not forced to buy insurance. Very professional. When inquiring about a children's booster seat, the customer service was very patient in telling us where to buy one. Great service.
Returning the car was unbelievably easy. Park the car, and within 5 seconds someone comes to assist. They check the mileage and fuel gauge, and then you're done!
When renting, they offer various upgrades like advanced models, fuel purchase options, and extra insurance. Just decline them all.
Very dissatisfied! Even after paying in full, the car was taken by someone else and we were given an old Nissan. They also asked us to pay extra! Shameless! Been using Zuzhu for three years, Hertz is the worst! No exceptions!!!
There were a lot of people in line, but the process was quite efficient and the service attitude was very good. I booked an extra day initially but wanted to return the car a day early. The Hertz staff said they wouldn't charge extra and allowed early return, which I found very flexible. The parking lot is huge, and the car condition is excellent.
