It took an hour to pick up the car, and the model was completely different from what I reserved. There wasn't any collision, but they claimed I caused the damage on the front bumper's bottom. I didn't even check underneath before, and they charged me 120 RMB in cash.
The rental company messed up my reservation. When I went to pick up the car in the morning as scheduled, they told me there was no car available and asked me to come back at 5 PM. Absolutely unreasonable!

I am very dissatisfied with the HAWK in Kuantan and the customer service at Zuzuche.
Firstly, the staff claimed that the car was new, but it turned out to be the oldest car we've ever rented, with over 120,000 kilometers and severely worn-out tires!
Secondly, the staff did not check the essential tools in the car. We found out there was no jack and no fire extinguisher. The staff said the store didn’t have any and told us to call them if there were any issues. This is ridiculous! We planned to drive through mountainous areas on Highway 4 to the Thai border. What if we had a flat tire? There are wild animals in that area, and with the worn-out tires, it could easily happen. How could they be so nonchalant?
Thirdly, when we called Zuzuche customer service, they said that the agreement might not have included a jack and a fire extinguisher! Are you kidding? In China, you can't drive without them. Does this have to be explicitly stated in the agreement? Why is there no option to select these essentials? Is the customer service even professional?
We requested a car replacement, but the staff said there were no cars available, implying that we could either take the risk or it was our responsibility. Eventually, after calling our Malaysian friends to argue on our behalf, the shop agreed to temporarily buy us a jack and provide a fire extinguisher. But our pickup time was delayed from 10:30 AM to 12 PM, meaning we arrived in Kota Bharu after dark.
Fourthly, the car's trunk lid had issues. Sometimes it wouldn’t close, and sometimes it would fall on its own, injuring my husband's head.
Fifthly, the fuel gauge read 7/8 but it was actually 3/4. After driving less than 200 meters, the fuel needle dropped. Very dishonest business.
Finally, seeing our frustration, they agreed to let us swap cars at the Kota Bharu Airport store, but we had to go there ourselves.
We have never encountered such a business before.
We are also very dissatisfied with the way Zuzuche customer service handled this situation.
We didn’t know we needed a voucher for car pickup. Two days ago, another staff member just asked us to take a screenshot and email it to them. But this staff member didn't allow that. Since this app logs in with a phone number and requires a verification code, we couldn't get the code. Even when we showed the long saved screenshot of the voucher, he said it was too small to read and made exaggerated gestures. He complained that we didn't print the voucher last time and still didn’t this time! We arrived at 3 PM and dealt with this until 4 PM without success. We had to rush back to school to submit documents and ended up taking a taxi. When we told him we would take a taxi and come back, he rudely replied, “What difference will that make?” His attitude was terrible. We asked a teacher to help print the voucher and took a taxi back, and he still claimed it wasn’t the correct form, with an awful expression on his face. Ultimately, he reluctantly said it was okay. My friend and I were very upset about the wasted time, the poor attitude, and lack of clear instructions. Even after we printed all the clear and readable information, he insisted it had to look like previous customers’ vouchers.

I couldn't pick up the car at the reserved city center location in Penang. Hawk staff informed me that it was the agency's mistake, so I had to take a ride-hailing car to Penang Airport to get the car. They arranged and paid for the ride. (But I wasted time due to the pickup issue, please review what went wrong!)

Customer service is inefficient. To pick up the car, you have to send a screenshot of the order to an email, and it has to be in PDF format. The car had three-quarters of a tank, but after driving just 2 kilometers, it dropped one bar. The customer service guy never smiled and seemed very impatient. It was a terrible experience.
