I clearly stated no vehicle upgrade and showed the staff my order showing I had purchased super cover. The car provided was the basic model I booked, yet I was still charged for vehicle and insurance upgrades when I returned the car! The complaint has not been resolved yet. Terrible service!

Probably won't consider AVIS again. They charged an extra driver fee when picking up the car but since we forgot the proof, they deducted another fee when returning it. They were also very uncooperative and had a bad attitude regarding fines incurred during the rental period.

I prefer renting a car in Germany because the vehicles are in good condition, the service is excellent, there's a high chance of getting an upgrade, and they don't have hidden charges. We originally booked a standard manual, but at the pickup location, we got a diesel manual station wagon. Since we planned to drive for several days, we asked if there was an automatic version available. The staff checked and offered a new C-class gasoline automatic with navigation, which had only been registered for a month. We were very happy! The navigation worked great, and we barely used Google Maps. When returning the car, we were a bit concerned because it was late and no staff was around, so we parked in the designated area and went to the office the next day to return the keys. We were told to just drop the keys in the drop-off box in the parking garage. In all of Europe, renting a car in Germany is the best choice.

At the counter, the staff had an indifferent attitude and didn't clearly explain the payment details. After receiving the vehicle, we found problems that made it unusable. When we went back to the counter, they replaced it with a Mercedes but didn't specify how much extra we would need to pay. There was no response from the rental company. Since our hotels were already booked, we reluctantly took the replacement car and quickly set off!

Scam company! They charged me an extra day's rent for arriving an hour early. They silently added insurance without informing me. In the end, they charged an extra 200 Euros, which is over 2000 RMB!

Logged into the 'Zuzuche' website in China to pre-book a Mercedes-Benz C-Class four-door five-seat car and already paid (rental prices vary by car). On July 18, 2018, when picking up the car at the car rental counter in Frankfurt Airport, the German staff told us that no Mercedes-Benz was available and offered a BMW 3 Series four-door five-seat as an alternative, showing it on a computer screen. After confirming multiple times, we agreed to accept the alternative. Additionally, the staff tried to upsell a Volvo SUV, which we declined. When we went to the parking lot in Frankfurt Airport (about a ten-minute walk) to pick up the car self-service, we found it was actually a Skoda four-door five-seat. We returned to the counter to inquire, and the staff again said no Mercedes-Benz was available and only the Skoda was offered. We sternly pointed out, 'We rented a Mercedes-Benz as shown available on the website and paid for it. Therefore, the company should provide a Mercedes-Benz or give a reasonable explanation for why not, obtain our consent to provide an equivalent or higher-class car, and assume corresponding breach responsibilities. Additionally, claiming falsely that a BMW 3 Series would be provided is an attempt to deceive us. We demand a reasonable explanation and solution.' The staff then took out a key to a Mercedes-Benz from a drawer within two minutes without explanation. We successfully retrieved the car ourselves (a 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class 180 four-door five-seat car). Upon inspection, this was the only Mercedes-Benz in the dedicated parking area for the rental company at Frankfurt Airport, and it was a new 2017 model.

The service attitude was not bad, and their reception process was standardized. I went to pick up the car at 8 AM, and they opened at 7:30 AM, so there weren’t many people.

A small pebble caused a tiny dent the size of a fingernail, and they charged 464 euros for the repair! They also claimed it was the lowest possible fee! They initially agreed to a 10 euro daily upgrade fee, but upon return, they insisted on 20 euros per day!

The same poor service from Zuzuche (QEEQ). Problem resolution is slow and even the deposit takes a day to process. The actual car was a Skoda, not a Mercedes, despite their claims. AVIS pushes unnecessary insurance, leading me to buy two zero-deductible policies. Extra charges are more than half of what other companies charge and they do not provide a way to pay foreign traffic fines. Pathetic.
