Cela aurait été parfait si nous avions pu contacter Budget par téléphone or cela a été impossible malgré de nombreux appels avec parfois des attentes de plus de 20 mn. Inadmissible Problème aussi sur un reste à payer indu

La récupération de la voiture a pris 50 minutes et cela parce qu'il a fallu manifester son impatience au bout de 45 minutes, car on nous disait depuis le début, "la voiture arrive d'ici 10 minutes". D'autres attendaient depuis 2 heures ! C'est inadmissible pour un service qui a été réservé depuis longtemps.

The queue at Nice airport was far too long. Well over 90 minutes to collect the car. 10 counters available, and only 3 employees.

All good from budget. Car was nice and the staff were kind and helpful.

The insurance upsell was very expensive.

We waited a ridiculously long time to get the car, well over 90 minutes, queues had cleared at all other desks - for this reason we would not use again.

Booking was simple

The staff was very professional and patient. We purchased additional insurance locally at a fair price with no rip-offs. They provided us with a brand new car with over 2000 kilometers on it, very satisfied!

The car provided was far smaller than had been booked, and no alternative was available. This was positioned as an "upgrade" as it was an automatic, whereas a manual had been booked. I don't really care about the gear system, that wasn't what I asked for or booked. I asked for a car big enough to comfortably fit 4 adults and a child with luggage. This was not provided and Budget offered no apology. very disappointing.

We already bought insurance from Zuzuche, but when we picked up the car at the French branch, they tried to sell us additional insurance. We didn't sign any contract, yet 10 minutes after picking up the car, they charged us over 250 euros. This company is a scam. Don't use Budget's cars in the future. Also, be aware of the store clerk named Simon; he's the one who tricked us.

In 3 out 4 rentals try to up sell. This time even got lower category than what i have booked and paid. Asking the client about the persons and luggage in the car might be ok during holiday season, but then you should adjust the rental fees as well. Otherwise delivery what has been booked! Will focus to book with Europcar and Sixt, which don't push the upselling (in my experience). Counter in Nice had to less staff to handle the long line and they should know it, because it's holiday season.

Dissatisfied, the car was not a Volvo, they gave me an old Citroen C3 instead.

Q at desk for car was 90 mins. Never again.

Queue times depend on the situation. When it's busy, the wait time can be long. I waited in line for about half an hour.

I was waiting in the que for over 2 hours. I have two young children and the wait for car hire is totally unacceptable. By the time I got to the desk I just wanted to get out so was signing up to all sorts just to get out of there. I have ended up paying over the odds for insurance and petrol costs. Overall absolutely shocking experience .

Au lieu d’une Twingo, on m’a d’emblée proposé un véhicule dont l’autoradio était en panne (sans me dire le modèle ni la marque du véhicule de substitution). J’ai accepté en précisant que j’avais juste besoin de pouvoir recharger mon téléphone. À ma demande, on m’a assuré qu’à part ça tout fonctionnait normalement. En montant dans le véhicule, j’ai constaté que le véhicule n’avait pas le plein... (aiguille au 3/4 de réservoir) Le véhicule présentait plusieurs coups et griffures sur la carrosserie et l’intérieur n’avait pas été nettoyé...

See above - dreadful service on pick up, waited over two hours. Staff unhelpful and slow. A really horrible experience without apology or explanation, nowhere even to sit down. I shall not go through that again. Inexcusable and uncaring service.

Le ++ : on nous a permis de choisir notre voiture dans la gamme que nous avions réservé. Le personnel au garage pour le retour : super sympa. Les - : trop d'attente à l'arrivée : quasiment aussi long que notre vol !! Super bon rapport qualité-prix
