“Coche y atención bien, pero olor a tabaco y cambio en la política de combustible”
About Centauro:6.7/10
Worst customer service ever, stood in que for 3 hours to pick up car. Un helpful staff, car was disgustingly dirty with tire pressure light on. couldn’t complain as I would have been waiting another 3 hours to get another one.
The Centauro Star should have more control o ver 3rd party contracts. Especially if the customer has made an error which has a simple solution by amending the contract
The car was fine, but picking it up was an absolute nightmare. I had no idea a rental car company could be this bad. When we arrived, there were maybe 15-20 people in line in front us. From the time that we arrived, to when we actually drove off the lot was literally two and a half hours. The young woman we dealt with at the counter was very nice, but the whole place was grossly understaffed, and her co-worker was strolling around like he was at the beach. Truly a dreadful experience.
“Reasonable price for a reasonable rental experience.”
About Centauro:5.3/10
The counter staff were pushy for insurance as I had it already the lady was then dismissive and failed to give me clear directions to the cars location. The car was eventually found after a lot of walking around with luggage and children. The car would not open so once I managed to find a helpful agent, they arranged a replacement. The replacement was rather tatty with slight damage on all panels, however it did run well. The return process was easy although the refund took a few days.
Centauro refused to accept the insurance I purchased from Easyrentcars and charged an additional €66. They also charged an additional €25 for an optional fueling service which I didn't request or require!
It really felt like a scam but they wouldn't release the car until I fulfilled these requirements.
When I arrived to pick up the car, I was about 40 minutes early. I waited in line for a long time, and when it was finally my turn, they told me that my scheduled pick-up time hadn't arrived yet, and I had to keep waiting. I was waiting with my child, and I don't accept this kind of service. They could have checked if anyone behind me had a tight schedule before making me wait longer.
When it was finally my turn, they tried to sell me various insurances. I showed them the full insurance I had bought on the rental platform, yet they still charged me a 1200-euro pre-authorization.
They stated a 'full tank pick-up, full tank return' policy but directly charged me 81 euros for fuel, saying they would refund it if I returned the car with a full tank. If they had already pre-authorized 1200 euros, why forcibly charge me 81 euros for fuel? Even worse, when I got the car, the fuel tank was not full. It's deceptive, even if the difference was small.
The most unacceptable part was during the rental period, when my car's radiator was damaged on the highway due to a dog suddenly darting out. After calling roadside assistance, the car was towed away, but they said I had to go to a branch 200 km away to get another car with another 1200-euro pre-authorization. I was in Cordoba, a popular tourist city in Spain, and they had no branch there? I ended up with no car even though I paid for the rental.
The next day, I repeatedly confirmed with their customer service if I needed to go to the return branch to complete the necessary procedures, and they said no. However, on the day of the return, I received a call in the afternoon asking me to come and return the car, but the return time had already passed. My car had been towed away a day and a half earlier, and their system failed to update the information in time.
As of now, a week later, the damage assessment is still not confirmed. My 1200-euro pre-authorization and the 81-euro fuel charge haven’t been settled. Ultimately, I had to pay out of pocket for transportation from Cordoba to Seville, as all my planned driving routes were no longer covered.
I suffered significant losses and had a terrible service experience.

The wait time was too long. I was supposed to pick up the car at 1 PM, but I didn't get it until 2 PM. There were only two people in line in front of me.
“Poor service at Alicante airport desk, car missing basic features such as working wipers”
About Centauro:4.3/10
Long queue to pick up (30mins)
Scaremongering to upsell additional insurance which was more expensive than the rental!
Because I didn't take insurance, didn't even tell me where to find the car just got given keys.
Picked up during a storm and the car was missing a wiper! (known damage)
About QEEQ:10.0/10
No complaints with easyrent, have used many times, will use again.
When I picked up the car, the right rear door had been hit. During my use, the right rear tire got a large 5cm hole near the rim, causing the tire to be completely scrapped. I had to return to the store to replace the vehicle and had to pay 500 euros for the tire compensation. Upon reflection, it's likely that the damage was caused by the previous collision on the right rear door. I only focused on negotiating the body damage and didn't notice the tire issue. Luckily, the tire completely deflated when the speed was not high. How do you evaluate this service? I even had to pay for the tire!
No indication at the airport of where to wait for pickup, busy time and only 1 pickup vehicle 8 passengers at a time, slow desk process and fuel in vehicle differed from paperwork but corrected.
They didn't provide a car without damages and gave me one full of defects. I meticulously checked and found over ten unlisted damages. If I hadn't checked, I would have been charged for them.
