I was pushed hard to take extra insurane that I did not need and they got me to pay for a full tank more money that I pay at pumbing stations in LA.

The car was very easy to drive, overall very good on petrol consumption and the easiest automatic drive I have driven.

Our flight arrived on time and we had a very small wait for the transport bus at LAX to take us to the rental area. We were processed quickly and given our choice of cars which is one of the main reasons we have chosen Alamo for our past few trips. Everything was explained well and we were on our way within a few minutes.

Booking was straight forward and easy. The price didn't change and to be honest I didn't bother comparing so don't know if that worked. Simple to use.

I was hesitant to book the car from them, but they exceeded our expectation , they had the best prices, picked us from the airport as soon as we called them, had the car ready and we were on our way in no time, also returning the car was just easy and dropped us off at our terminal.

Soorry. Bad exp. At counter and car pick area. Peole were rufe and file was not completely filled .... lack of more cars was an issue.

I would never ever rent a vehicle from this place again! Reserved a mini van for a 9am pick up.. sat there for over 2 hours waiting for a van to be clean. The guy at the counter told me “we have only 1 person cleaning be patient”.. They had no consideration for the fact that I had 2 babies with me. Next - they tried to con me into purchasing their insurance coverage. He kept insisting I only had liability insurance when I presented my own proof. I ensured him I have full coverage because I lease my personal vehicle and told him to call GEICO directly as I was not going to purchase additional coverage unnecessarily- he didn’t even bother calling to confirm he just let it go. Finally - I dropped the vehicle off prior to 7am so no one was available from AVR to check it in. I was very nervous about this as the night before when Googling the location for the address I came upon tons of reviews that highlighted all of the shady practices of this place. So, at drop off I ensured the vehicle was clean and took pics of every angle. After 24 hours of drop off and no email with a final receipt I called. I sat on hold for 17 minutes and was disconnected. Called again and held for 43 minutes and was disconnected! Called back a 3rd time and pushed different buttons and was able to leave a voice message, but never received a call back. Can’t speak with anyone in “customer service”. After a few days about $140 of my $200 deposit was credited to my account - still no explanation. No idea why AVR felt they needed to charge me $60. Overall, with the extremely long pick up time, poor customer service, consistently shady Business practices (read online reviews!), and the stress caused because I didn’t know if based on what I read this could have been worse I concluded that I will stick with major/well known rental companies. Not worth saving a hundred bucks because time is money and the unsubstantiated charges on the back end make up for whatever savings you thought you were getting.

Excellent service at counter and no messing around by staff trying to force extras on me. Staff acted quickly and explained everything I needed to know quickly so I could be on my way fast after a delayed flight. Coice of cars were all excellent and in great condition. We picked the smaller of the ones we could choose from as it would be easier for me to drive and park. Mitsubishi Mirage we picked was in excellent condition and we had no problems with it

Our flight was delayed so I rang Easyrentcars to advise them that we would be almost two hours late collecting our vehicle. the rep on the phone was great and advised me that this would not be a problem and to not worry about it.

The pickup service was very attentive and the return time was very flexible. Excellent attitude!

The staff's attitude was okay, but there were a lot of customers at Los Angeles airport and very few staff members. I had to wait in line for two hours.

The webpage showed that Sesame Credit exempts the deposit for certain cars, but after payment, the customer service informed us that not all models are exempt. The label for 'or similar models' was very unclear, and we only noticed it at the store when an employee pointed it out. Also, the insurance details were only explained in-store, indicating that insurance must be handled through the car rental platform. In summary, many details were vaguely described during the booking process, and full explanations were given only when picking up the car.

The company is quite large and has a lot of cars. We had to change the car due to the model, but the service was acceptable.

Gentleman gave my a hard time for being an hour ‘early’ and wasn’t going to help me. Then decided to begin the process (which ended up taking nearly an HOUR) and told me I have to now return the car early. Found out upon return that I he had charged additional $$. He also told me he was giving me the best car on the lot; the car I was given had over 63K miles on it, was completely bashed and banged up, loads of scratches and dents and was actually missing a piece of the frame. Also had drinks containers and food debris from a previous renter (I assume) that we found as we were driving away.

The address we were given to pick up the car was the wrong address. It took us over an hour to find the correct shuttle to pick up our rental car. We had several shuttles pass us by without even stopping. When we dropped off the vehicle, the owner insisted that we had damaged the car in two tiny little spots and demanded we file an insurance claim. I really think he just wanted insurance money and that the damage was on the car before we ever drove it. The damage was so small and minor that I never would have even noticed it.

The process was simple and efficient. Completed the rental process in five minutes and the return process in just one minute!

They promised that a US driver's license is sufficient to rent a car, but in reality, they did not allow it. Ended up renting a car on-site and was pressured to buy various insurances.

The rescue hotline was very hard to reach and extremely inefficient.
