Renting a car was very convenient, the staff was very friendly

Very good service attitude

Very poor car rental service. They added extra insurance at the counter, and when I wanted to cancel it, they said it would be refunded when I returned the car. It turned out to be a scam. Also, I booked a Ford but got a Mazda.

The regular member lounge is quite large, but there are many people, and the wait was about half an hour. The line for Gold members is shorter.

It turned out to be very expensive with many additional charges under various guises. Not very honest.

I had already checked in online, but had to do it again at the pick up. Waste of time doing it twice!

A little more information regarding the operation of the car from someone would have been helpful. Like what type of fuel is needed etc. Oh yes and a smile helps.

There is a shuttle bus from the airport to the Hertz parking lot. The driver was very nice and helped us with our luggage. The parking lot signs are clear. However, the counter staff tried to sell us insurance when we picked up the car.

Terrible company. Do not go for the cheaper option with this company. We already purchased three insurances on the rental platform, but when we got to the store, the staff kept pushing more insurance on us. We refused but then they asked us to swipe our card for a violation deposit. Turns out they charged us for full coverage insurance instead. When we got back, we found out they deducted over 1700! This is a scam company!

I was tricked into buying insurance when picking up the car. I clearly told the rental company I didn't want it, but they still insisted I needed basic insurance. I had already purchased basic insurance when I placed the order, but they tricked me into paying for more. I am furious.

When we arrived at LAX, we called KX Car Rental for pick up. We waited at the car rental pick up shuttle area for over an hour and no one showed up. We had to call again and apparently they were waiting somewhere else. We were very disappointed in the miscommunication.

Communication for pick up could definitely improve.
