Car provided was not SUV we booked, however at the rental desk they have different opinion.

The counter was easy to find. Picking up and returning the car was very convenient, and the car was in good condition. However, it was the first time I heard that there were additional fees for driving across multiple countries in Europe. It felt like the front desk was just looking for ways to charge extra.

Excellent car rental company!

If the full insurance coverage is cheaper, that would be great. Cox the insurance itself is almost the same price as he vehicle price itself.

It was very smooth service when picking up the car, they even upgraded to a better one at that moment. Guy who worked there at reception was super helpful, suggested on better insurance for us and gave his card if something would happened or any troubles would occur.

Easy booking, better prices than anywhere else.

The offered car actually was below my expectations - hardly BMW X1 can pass for a Medium SUV! I was able to collect the hired car some 40 min after the requested time, mainly due to some problems with a customer before me on the HERTZ counter, still it leaves not a good feeling. My pre-booking requests for cross-border were obviously not known to the HERTZ counter employee and the booking process had to be re-done again after I've realised the above fact. My request the cross-border fees to be paid on the completion of the rent, since these plans were preliminary and actually got changed during the rental period remained unanswered. This fact is actually strange, since the Customer should pay only for the services he requested for and were actually used. A cross-border fee should be paid only if the border crossing was actual, not when only declared as intentional and subject of a change. Last, but not least - ALL documents were presented on German language only!No English version for non-German citizens!

Everything went smoothly on renting both pick-up and drop-off, friendly and fast staff.

I used Price Drop Protector when booking and we got a refund due to a lower price, that's a great feature. It makes you comfortable to book even with long time in advance.

Staff was very helpful...When we are turning Tegel airport there are traffic issue...Almost 2 km outside of Tegel Airport policeman closed all roads and we wait there more than 1 hour...So we cant put bensin,because of check in time ...For 15 liter bensin Alamo take from me 67 Euros...Gas station is 1 km from Tegel...Anyway,its my fault but 4 euro/liter is so expensive...They called me,i explain them this policemans traffic issue but they cant help me...Anyway,it was good car and good firm...

The queue time was over an hour, which is quite long.

My car have accidents , the mirror at passenger side was fall off , but the staff denied to change a car. He said “the mirror at driver side still work so you can continue drive it!”

There were quite a few people, had to take a number and wait, the waiting time was over 10 minutes.

The rental company did not inform us about needing to buy highway tickets when crossing borders. If you have no experience, it is easy to get fined without knowing.

They overcharge, it has been two months and they charged my credit card again.

We had already purchased insurance and paid all rental and insurance fees in our home country. However, the German rental company added their own insurance at the counter without clearly informing us. They only mentioned the additional cost when we returned the car. Germans tend to add their own insurance based on their understanding, and it can be quite expensive.

The staff could hardly speak English when picking up the car. When returning the car, there was no one at the store during business hours and I couldn't reach them by phone. The designated self-service return garage was inaccessible—the door button didn't work even after pressing it for a long time. I had to park the car on the street. The service was terrible; I had specifically adjusted my schedule to return the car during business hours.
