Acceptable overall. Just had some issues when returning the car.

Alamo had hidden insurance services which almost cost an extra £150 if not checked carefully.

We returned the car two hours early, but the bill came a month later, showing an extra day's charge for late return. After presenting evidence, over two weeks have passed with no response.

I ended up paying more on site than quoted by QEEQ

1. Persistent upselling; 2. The front left rim might have slightly scraped the curb (barely noticeable), but still required a damage fee of GBP 375!

Couldn't rent a car, they asked for an additional 660 pounds before they would rent to us, so we didn't rent.

Picking up the car was convenient, no need to queue; returning the car was simple, deposit was refunded the next day after signing the confirmation. Overall, it was quite satisfactory!

I had an accident when I was traveling in the UK around 1 a.m. But, they didn't respond, and I had to deal with the situation by myself. So, hope to enhance the midnight emergency service. Except for it, it was perfect.

I returned the car on time, but the rental company said they couldn't find it. They claimed they found it the next day and charged me an extra day's rental.

The drop-off location closed at 1 PM, but there was no reminder when we rented the car, and the system did not display this information. We had scheduled our return for 4 PM, but when we arrived within the designated time, there was no one to assist us. After calling for assistance, we deposited the keys into the self-service drop box. The rental company didn't process our return until two days later, charging us for an additional two days... The issue remains unresolved after communication.

The manager at this branch was a legend! Made everything clear about the policy’s for protection had my car ready within 10 mins. He would be the first person I’d send people too for a hire car and I will defiantly be using them again.

Great smooth systems

Green Motion is a scam company. We rented a car at London's airport in the UK, and already purchased insurance on a domestic rental website. However, when picking up the car, they insisted that our insurance didn't count and required us to buy their insurance. They said if we didn't, even a 1 cm scratch would cost us 800 pounds. We had no choice but to be ripped off by Green Motion. It didn't stop there. We did get a speeding ticket while driving in Liverpool. Green Motion emailed us and sent the police ticket, stating they don't care about the police fines, but they charge a 68-pound administration fee. We had to pay. After paying the admin fee, the police emailed us the next day asking for a 100-pound fine, which we paid. That was somewhat normal, but a month later, Green Motion took another 68 pounds from our credit card. We emailed them asking why, and they stated it was for a second fine, although there was no evidence or police ticket. After that, we had to cancel our credit card to prevent further unauthorized charges from Green Motion. This company is a total scam. We'll never rent from them again.

The rental place was easy to get to, was very clean and I did not have to wait at all before someone attended to me. The car was in a great condition and ran very well. It was also very clean. Drop off was as efficient as pick up and I am very happy with the service.

Very easy to book and compare prices. Always gives me good prices.
