Good service attitude, didn't have to wait long. However, I was very unhappy with the random car model change. Check my final comment for more details.
The service executive at the pickup counter was not very transparent. He tried very hard to upsell to very expensive options and was not transparent about the insurance options. I had to ask a lot of questions to really understand what was applicable to me so that i did not get overcharged
When I rented the car previously, I was told I could pick it up directly with the order, but at pickup, I was informed that I had to pay over a hundred euros as a pickup fee!
1. The rented car was not the model we originally reserved, it wasn't even in the same category. We booked an Audi A3 or a similar model, and they gave us a small Renault?? We asked about this and they said it was the same. Excuse me, the size of the car isn't even the same. 2. The price is extremely high, 116 euros for a very small Renault hatchback. Overall, I do not recommend choosing AVIS.
The queue was extremely long. Although I had already paid the full rental amount on the platform, I was charged an additional 100 euros at the store, plus a 65-euro service tax for services that were never provided. It's been nearly a month and I still don't understand what happened. The staff's English is very poor, and the extra charges were taken without explanation. Absolutely a terrible experience!
I suggest not to buy QEEQ's full insurance. The deductible is 10,000 yuan, and upon arrival at the rental site, you have to pay an additional 1,000 yuan or so for it to be considered full insurance.
Due to communication issues, I only needed an additional driver insurance, but the rental company charged me for comprehensive insurance, resulting in double charges of 773.45 euros. I had previously chosen the super supplemental insurance with my booking on the rental platform, meaning I wouldn't need to pay any extra fees in case of any issues. I couldn't contact the rental platform while abroad, and I am currently resolving the issue with them after returning home.
Arrived after midnight. The rental company had already added many items to the contract. I did an electronic signature on the computer without even receiving a detailed list, which caused issues.
There was no staff accompanying me when picking up the car. I found a screw in the tire and the staff asked me to drive the car over to show them. The replacement car was not as good as the original one.
