Disgraceful lazy and rude service, charges from card taken and not refunded promptly

Need more information on insurance in the total price included/excluded with the rental and not over at counter when picking up which can cause a queue and time wasting.

When returning the car, I followed the navigation to the location provided by the rental company, only to find the gate locked. It was already 5:30 AM (working hours) and there was no one to ask. The provided phone number was not answered. For 15 anxious minutes, I was at a loss. Eventually, other customers arrived at the wrong location as well. Together with 3-4 other cars, we searched around the streets. Finally, we found a guard station with an 'Avis' sign, and the guard, who seemed to be in a bad mood perhaps because it was early morning, told me indifferently to park inside. The yard was full of cars, and there was no one to collect the keys or inspect the car. When I asked again, he said to leave the keys inside the car and just walk away. I had no choice but to hurry because I needed to take a small train to a different terminal for my flight. I almost missed my flight due to this terrible rental experience which nearly caused me a loss...

This rental experience was extremely poor and almost caused me a lot of trouble...

The car wasn’t in good condition, it has a very nice sound. Consuming high energy.

Car was great. EWR new car rental arrangements aren't the greatest. Only one staff menber was available for Avis & Budget till nearly my chance, so there was more waiting time. Staff service was very proffesional. Great.

Thanks to Budget team, the upgraded my booked car from Corola to Camry.

Hubo un problema de comunicación porque yo resido en Estados Unidos y por lo tanto cuento con mi licencia de conducir del estado de Nueva York. Por lo cual llamé a la compañía para preguntar sobre si era necesario llevar un pasaporte; ya que en ese momento no lo tenía conmigo y debido a que tengo la licencia de conducir estadounidense y me dijeron que no hacía falta. Sin embargo cuando lleguemos allí, me dijeron que como habíamos realizado una reserva española y obligatoriamente necesitábamos un pasaporte. Esto nos hizo tener que volver al alojamiento y nos hizo perder mucho tiempo y algo de dinero para volver a recoger el coche de nuevo.

Major problems with the uplift of our car.There was a crash on the Budget computer and after a 1.5 hour wait we eventually were given a hand written contract and our car.

Excellent value and service

The service was standard, but I noticed an overcharge of $66 on the final bill during the return process. I had them correct it promptly.

Pick-up location was under staffed so the wait was longer than anticipated.

Staff were helpful and nice. Car choice was good.

All was good although payment was a little clunky
