BUDGET CAR RENTAL REVIEWS IN UNITED STATES

Extremely poor experience. Budget replaced our car with a Kia, which broke down the next day! I had to pay for roadside assistance out of my own pocket! It's ridiculous. The insurance provided by Zuzuche was completely useless because it was from a domestic company and didn't work in the US. Make sure to check the car's condition carefully when choosing. Don't accept cars with high mileage. I will continue to file complaints and welcome any advice from those with similar experiences.

The pickup process was too slow.

They take advantage of people with poor English skills by adding unwanted extra services, which is very frustrating.

Not only were there extra charges, but the service at the JFK Airport location in New York was terrible.

Aside from the rental fee, they charged an additional $2000 for various fees, $7.99 per day for insurance, and $12.99 per day for toll roads...

It was a New jeep and we loved all about it. The Young man that helped us gave us the car one hour earlyer and that was no extra. Included a big gps. And he was so nice and polite:) we do not like the way others can be and sell us more insurance and all sorts of trick. The Young man just was so nice

Easy good and absolute Nothing to complane about

Car showed low tyre pressure warning at pickup. Only one agent at pickup and she had to spend a long time dealing with one difficult customer, so the process took longer than it should.

Excellent- helpful counter staff at check-in, and when the car I expected was not there this was sorted out very swiftly and I ended up with a different car, which was (to my eye) a better car all round anyway so no delay and a happy customer. I misunderstood the cost of the advance toll fee coverage at the pick up desk, (the fee for which seems poor value to me) but I was able to delete it later by visiting a different local branch where it was sorted almost instantly. Although I could not effect this over the phone the lack of fuss otherwise over this did impress me and I will likely put Budget at the top of my list for a future hire. Handing the car back was also disarmingly slick and efficient. Incidentally, I returned the car brim-full but nonetheless the fuel gauge showed 'almost-full', nobody quibbled so another brownie point for lack of drama there. All told a better experience than I expected and I suspect that was not just good luck.

QEEQ did a good job- my brother booked a car at the same time directly with a different company and I think I had a better deal- better car, better price, but I won't rub it in!

Had an absolutely appalling experience with the budget rental in poughkeepsie extremely amateur and completely unprofessional rented a car paid in full no car available because I was late and no option of renting something else but still kept the money
