The Budget staff at both pick up and drop off were rude, unhelpful and really did not seem to even want to be there . Just terrible service

Totally shocked at the number of people in line for Budget car rental. 100's Waited 1 hour in line and another 45 min at the counter as they did not have a van available for us. We had 6 people so we had to wait until they found one. (which we had booked)

Pickup was a disaster. There was a huge line, and only two guys working. They took forever to check out each customer, and stopped between each customer to talk over the radios. Something was obviously wrong, but there was zero communication to the huge line of waiting customers. It was almost midnight and lots of lucky customers that hadn’t prepaid left the line and went to a different rental agency. To add salt to the wound, the Avis line, right beside us was moving three or four times faster. I won’t be using Budget again.

Vehicle wasn’t in the best condition. However, the price made up for it.

The car did have some bumps but apart from that was super.

They did a great job and as I am a disabled veteran they drove me back to the checkin counter

2 hour wait for the car was t great, but Counter staff Desmond handled this with humour and confidence. Well done!

Very disappointed with budger

The first vehicle had a puncture in the tire. The replacement vehicle was in good condition, but a little dirty. The usb jack for my cell phone didn’t work so I couldn’t charge my phone in the car.

The introduction to the rental car was extremely lacking. They didn’t confirm the booking details (there was an error with the drop off location) And they didnt mention you can’t change the drop off location for electric cars. This meant we had to drive 4 hours back from LA to Fresno, change our flights and lose a night at our hotel. This was a major issue for us and was extremely stressful. It could have been avoided if the reception did their job properly.

We were delayed at immigration with an interminable line! By the time we arrived at the Budget office, it was closed. After evaluating the options, I decided to hire a car for 24 hours from Avis; while I was in the Avis office, I heard another customer say that he had a Budget reservation, I asked him about it and he told me that Avis and Budget are the same company, so I was able to pick up the car I had originally reserved from the Avis counter. I was glad I did not spend the extra money on a taxi or additional rental, however a little more information would have gone a long way to relieve the stress and not make us waste another hour looking for solutions, after we had been traveling for more than 24 hours.

Be aware that the car/option you may have selected isn’t always going to be the car you get. In fairness it states “similar” in the advert but had hoped my car choice would have been available.

The booking process was pretty smooth. It would be useful to make it clear there is no system in place to pay automatically for any toll roads you may use.

Helpful staff in Austin. In San Antonio no receipt was emailed to me and also I was not told I was being charged for 2 extra hours. There was some time confusion. Other than that, good.

Very good as always. The only thing is I booked the car at 0700 and returned after 0900 and was charged extra hours but think it was a confusion.

Car drivable but had faults (cruise control and collision warning inoperative and warning lights on). Were not advised of existing damage to bodywork. Car had 90,000 on clock so not a new vehicle. Counter staff and return staff very pleasant and efficient.

Reservei o carro para retirada e devolução no aeroporto MCO, mas a QEEQ, unilateralmente, alterou para o aeroporto de Stanford, me causando enorme transtorno para retirar o veículo lá. Por sorte, a funcionária da locadora era extremamente educada e prestativa e alterou a devolução para MCO sem custo, mas os funcionários da QEEQ nada fizeram, apenas disseram que a QEEQ cobraria pela reserva, eu retirando ou não o veículo.

Straightforward, although the first car they assigned was incorrect (mini-van rather than SUV).

90 minutes to pick up a pre-ordered car is unacceptable.

Car was fine but had a dent in the side which was not mentioned on collection. No go round the car. Very long queue for collection - not what you need after a day of travelling. Staff were helpful and efficient but very understaffed- thus the long delay and limited hand over.

Worked well.

Over two hours long wait at a stuffy hot waiting room in LaGuardia. No compensation, not even sorry for the long wait. Waisted half a day of our trip.
