Windshield wipers were loud and not effective on passenger side

The car had milk or something previously spilled in it. The car really stank and was very unpleasant. I wouldn't give that to a paying customer. Disappointed we paid for the rental and got given a car that clearly had a bad smell. Disappointing considering the rest of the process was great.

There was no problem but odometer shows over 170000km. Scary a little bit.

When I went to leave the depot I couldn’t find my way out, no one told me I had to leave by driving through barrier gates and right through the airport car park? When I tried to return the car my phone map couldn’t find Ace car rental at the airport and would only direct me to the city It was very frustrating and worrying as I thought I might miss my flight.

Both picking up and returning the car were quite convenient. Just follow Google Maps.

They lost my reservation and had to arrange a car for me at the last minute.

it was bit complicated with insurance as easy rent was 3rd party and asked seperate 5000/= bond.,,even though i have paid for full insurance amount mentioned by easy rent .

Car failed to meet expectations. 108,000kms on the clock! No indication at booking that this would be a well worn car.

It was pretty quick to get the car. Dropping it off, it was busy and not enough staff to help everyone, meaning a delay. The shuttle almost left with my bag onboard because someone was still checking my car and the other staff was wanting to leave to take the other customers without waiting. The staff checking the car said it was okay for me to leave. Which was good. But the delay added to the nerviousness of getting to the airport on time.

The car was old. They charged me anonther insurance or else i would put a deposit of $2000. Easy rent cars already charged me with insurance. So i ended up paying 2 insurance. Which is so unfair. Because ace did not accept the insurance of easy rent cars.

The fuel charge was unjustified. I was told that I didn't need to return the car with a full tank, but I was still charged for fuel after returning it.

Counter staff is nice and Car is the same as pictures

The GPS within the car was pricey, so unfortunately we had to buy a sim card which was wasting our time, as we hadn't been informed of the GPS charges. The staff were friendly about it, but they rushed the service a little it seems.

Car was damaged and in poor condition inside and out. When we mentioned this the counter staff didn't seem to care. We weren't shown around the car or given instruction. It had alot of miles on the clock and we were concerned it would get us to our destination. The age and condition of the car it should not be on the road for hire. For the amount of money we paid for hire we did not expect to get something as old and damaged. We are going to put in a complaint to both ACE and AXA insurance. We are still awaiting the return of the $750 holding fee from ACE.

The car I picked didn’t have navigation system so I had to charge my iPhone while I was watching google map through cigarette socket.

It took a long time to collect the car at Greymouth as there were so many people. We were given an upgrade for no extra cost.

Ladies at ACE were super helpful. They advised me of a road closure which would have impacted on my business trip. Car was in excellent condition and didn't small like a usual rental car. Will be using these guys every time. Cheers
