Counter staffs are helpful and condition of car rented was as posted, although slightly dirty on the exterior with remains of road kills but overall still acceptable. Nothing to complain. Hassle free

Car was great value for money, no issues. Counter staff service was good too. Main issue was not being able to find the pick up area as it isn't advertised at all that Alamo is part of Enterprise!! Spent a long time wandering round airport confused.

The counter at the international arrival was very busy with long line, the lady was kind enough to let me know that the counter near the domestic terminal is less busy. Car was new with 8000km, too bad i didn't get the car i booked for.

Very friendly staff who waited for me with a smile as my flight was super delayed late in the night.

Helpful counter staff

We were informed of changes to our booked vehicle 3 to 4 days before our arrival. Luckily the counter staff managed to explain to us what exactly happened and continued to allow us to have the original booking.

Booking was easy but it would be great if the add on fees on the excess and insurance could be stated earlier instead over the counter decision.

We had a couple of hassles finding the office, but once there, everything was great.

The car met expectations, the customer service was flawless, very friendly and helpful, I could not have asked for a better hire car experience

The booking platform was easy to navigate and a welcome change, price drop didn't offer any benefit on this occasion though remain more than happy with the overall experience

The lady at the counter had some IT issue and so we had to wait for close to an hour to get our car. The details were also not coherent with our booking regarding insurance.

We booked a BMW X1 but got an Audi Q3. Not a problem but I would have appreciated to know there is actually no BMW X1 available ever.

The initial car hire was not cheap and additional charges were applied at pickup. The additional mileage charges were more than described or expected.

Alamo staff should inform me that the charges for making toll payment. Each transaction I was charged 1.28aud. It is small amount but for every transaction I was charged the amount seems to be abit too much. And the condition of the boaster seat for infant is not so good and clean.

After having already paid for the excess reduction online they tried to also sell their service for this. They also tried the hard sell on their own petrol with scare tactics on how much I would use and how expensive it was out of the airport. Just really annoying.

Second time I've used Alamo & will use again. Would rather prefer a car without damage though...doesn't look good

The car damage policy is a ripped off. The counter staff told me any damage larger than a 50cents coin regardless of fault, I have to pay A$4400. This is utterly unfair and the costs of repair may be much less than that but still I have to pay that amount. The staff told me this is how it is. I had no choice by to buy the comprehensive insurance which is almost equivalent to my car rental price. The counter staff directed me to pick up the car at the parking lot to meet the person checking the car. She didn't call and end up no one is at the parking lot and we have waited 15 minutes and walk all the way back to the counter and she did checking herself finally.
