Very good, the pick-up and drop-off process was very smooth. The car was in great condition, with only 2500 km on it. Driving the Great Ocean Road is a must in a lifetime. Overall, a very satisfying rental experience.
Car was great however when picking up I requested a printed tax invoice and the staff said they would have to check vehicle first and then send through. I have emailed to receive a tax invoice and have not received a response and I require this for work immediately.
About QEEQ:7.0/10
Could not product a tax invoice for payment only receipts
The rental cost is too high and not worth it at all. There is a 100 km limit per day, and the rental fee is over 1500 RMB per day. A huge ripoff. Don't even bother going to Uluru; it's just a big rock and not worth visiting.
QEEQ offered unlimited mileage for out Uluru tour, which is very rare in the market. Their response to my enquiries was really quick. Price is also reasonably affordable.
“Good cars to rent but service could have been better.”
About Thrifty:7.0/10
Have difficulty connecting to the in-car GPS system. The staff at Thrifty were of no help as they said they did not know how to operate the system. There was no queue system at the pick-up (eg. queue number ticket). It was based on who the staff saw coming in. If they missed your entrance when they are busy attending to other customers, it was as good as not being in the queue. The company would have known how many pickups to expect, so they need to cater enough staff to manage the pickups instead of making customers wait.
Drop off was a better experience as there was a staff on site to quickly access the car before sending us off us within 10 minutes.
About QEEQ:7.0/10
Could not provide more help as QEEQ is 3rd party platform. Needed to know more about changing the drop off timing and venue but QEEQ could not provide any answers or advice. Just redirtected to Thrifty.
Dissatisfied with the rental company. The mileage limit was 700 kilometers with an additional charge of 0.25 per kilometer exceeded. However, during settlement, there were many inexplicable fees, such as an airport fee, which was unreasonable. The rental contract stated that the charge for extra kilometers was 0.25 per kilometer. Even though we appealed, we still had to pay nearly 0.50 per kilometer.
