Booked a month in advance and paid for an Audi A4 (luxury car). Upon arrival, I was informed that there were no cars available and was given an Opel (mid-range car) instead. After the car window was damaged, they only replaced it with a very small JEEP. Very dissatisfied with the service. This company offers very low value for money.

The supplier forced me to change the car model, claiming they didn't have the one I originally booked. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction, they still forced the change as I urgently needed a car. Additionally, although I had already paid for various insurances online, the foreign store ignored them and charged me again. Their attitude was extremely bad.

The service from such a big company is poor, with a terrible attitude. They gave us the wrong car model without any apology throughout the process. Although it was eventually resolved, it delayed us by two hours and required three trips back and forth. We had to unload and reload the luggage, which was very inconvenient.

I chose a Volkswagen Passat on the app, but ended up with an Alfa Romeo Giulia. The difference is quite significant. Maybe in Europe, the Giulia and Passat are in the same category, but not here. We had tried the Passat's trunk beforehand and it could fit at least two large suitcases, but when we picked up the car in Spain, the Giulia could only fit one large suitcase. We had to find a way to fit the remaining two in the back seats. Also, the parking lot exit gate at the pickup location was confusing, it took us a while to figure out how to get out, not as convenient as back home. Returning the car was fast and easy. We didn’t damage the car, took good care of it, and got no fines.

Europcar provided us with a car that was due for an oil change. We rented the car from February 17th in Granada, Spain, and returned it on February 28th at Madrid Airport, totaling eleven days. On the sixth day, the 23rd, a red warning light appeared, indicating the need for an oil change. I contacted the rental platform to ask if it was necessary and what the consequences would be if we didn't change it. They suggested visiting a local branch of their company for assistance to avoid safety risks. In Porto, we found their rental point below the British company. I requested a car exchange, but they claimed they didn't have the same model. The staff took us to a repair shop and asked me to pay the full cost upfront, 76 Euros, with a promise of reimbursement at the Madrid drop-off point. It took three hours to change the oil, ruining our afternoon plans. At the Madrid Airport drop-off, they refused to reimburse the oil change cost, telling me to contact the rental platform. Europcar failed to check the car thoroughly before handing it over and was unhelpful in resolving the issue, showing no willingness to admit their mistake or apologize sincerely. How can we trust such a rental company?

The first day we got the car and drove to Toledo, it broke down just before we arrived. We called the emergency support line, and the person who checked it said it was an oil problem and the car had to be towed, otherwise we would be responsible for any consequences. But the support center said I had to go back to Madrid to get a replacement car myself after it was towed. After much negotiation, they sent a car to take us back to Madrid the next day. When we got to the agreed pick-up point, they said they didn't have the car model that was confirmed. They wanted me to go to another pick-up point, which I firmly refused. Seeing my insistence, they eventually sent someone to bring the car over. This whole process wasted over half my day. The replacement car was not even full of gas. We had to drive back to Granada from Madrid, and by the time we got there, it was night, and we missed the Alhambra tickets I booked, costing me over 900 yuan. This booking was made through Zuzuche, and I asked Zuzuche to help coordinate if the tickets could be rescheduled, but nothing came of it. When I returned the car, the rental company charged me 16 euros for the fuel of the first car. Why? The replacement car was not full of fuel when given to me, and I had to start again from Madrid. I demand an explanation and compensation from the rental company for my losses. This is extremely frustrating. At a minimum, I need compensation for the ticket loss and a refund for the fuel charge. I hope Zuzuche can help mediate this matter, and I await the result.
