BARGAIN CAR RENTAL REVIEWS IN AUSTRALIA

Ordered a small SUV, order was confirmed. Then few hours before my trip I was told that car is unavailable and only car available was a large SUV which was $30 dearer. I had no choice but to take this car as I needed a car and only a short period of time until my trip start. The large SUV was well over my budget, but I urgently required a car.

My booking was for a Mitsubishi Outlander (OR SIMILAR). The car we received was a Nissan X Trail which is a smaller vehicle in comparison. Staff were friendly but because lacked additional staff for the busy weekend they were expecting for the football and ANZAC period. Also understand they take a $500 deposit for if the vehicle is damaged but if this isn't cancelled or return of the car then another process needs to be taken.

EasyRentCars were fine

Vehicle had bald tires. Engine warning light was on for the entire hire period. Car ran rough and coughed and spluttered when accelerating making it quite dangerous in some situations. Counter service at Bargain rentals was good.

I rang to find out where my car was at. Was told no car available and can't do anything about it.and I'm at the airport at 1 o'clock in the morning with my pregnant wife and 2 year old. I had to catch a taxi that cost me $177.

No need to queue, very efficient

The value was amazing. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond. Willing to listen and help and knew what they were doing. They offered upsell items but were not rude or pushy when declined. All the way through they were polite patient and respectful.

It was easy straight forward to book.

Wait for pick-up at airport was a bit long and checking out car felt rushed, but staff were friendly. Drop off was a bit odd and staff did not communicate that I had dropped off car to the 2nd location so was receiving a call while on the plane looking for the car! Insurance cost twice as much as the actual rental.

The booking they had was in the wrong name (incorrect first name, correct surname) which was strange and added time to the pick-up.

Service attitude was a bit poor, didn't care about customers, slow

The service from BARGAIN was excellent. The airport shuttle was prompt and the in-store procedure was simple and quick.

The price is great value. call for free pick-up from airport and wait around 10 minutes. very quick process to take the car. The small car which we reserve is new and good condition.

Had to wait in queue for drop-off for over 30 minutes as there were a lot of people picking up cars. Would have been good if there was someone just doing the drop-off or a box to deposit the key.

The staff at the counter on pick up were lovely and so helpful. We had trouble working the GPS so they came out and tried a new cord but we still couldn't get it to go so they came out again and showed us a few things on it to make it easier.

I thought the hole process was terrible
