BUDGET CAR RENTAL REVIEWS IN UNITED STATES

I would like for the cars I book to be in the inventory and not cars I didn't chose for rental to be in display

I was scheduled to return the car at 3:30 a.m. and it would have been helpful for the counter to inform me that the airport doors don’t open until 4:00. Therefore I was waiting outside for 30 minutes.

Not many people, very quick, if you have all your documents ready they give you the car without much fuss. The staff is quite strict. You cannot use a US driver's license to pick up the car.

The employee on the counter was very rude, he gave me a really small suv and he wasn’t dealing professionally

The process was very fast. No sales pitches were made. After checking the passport and the international driving permit, I got the keys in 5 minutes.

The front desk staff were friendly, didn't push extra insurance, and even upgraded my car!

The location I was supposed to pick the car up was not a traditional location and it was confusing... maybe COVID closure related(?)... so budget moved my pickup location at my request when I called ahead to verify. Manager was very nice and helpful at COS airport location when making the switch.

Do not go to this Budget. They mislead you. When picking up the car, they used an electronic contract that I didn't fully understand before clicking to the next page. In the end, I unknowingly bought several unnecessary insurances and other items. Even though I returned the car with a full tank of gas, they insisted it was short and charged a ridiculously high fuel fee! I will never go to this Budget again!

When I picked my car up, the guy just said it's the white one over there. I am older and would of appreciated a bit of instruction on the technology. The drop off was not good. The lady accepted my keys and charged my card and said goodbye. I asked her to come inspect my car that there was no damage. She said they did not do that. WHAT? I said her driver could move it, or damage it and I would be liable. She said she could not go outside. There were 2 other people there. I said I am not trying to be a problem but I want my car written off as the way I picked it up. At that point, she was very rude but did come out. I will never use that location again. Texas is hot, and she was being lazy...but what's right is right. Bad customer service.
