We showed up expecting an easy experience and then they try to say that the state of Florida has new strict driver liability laws, and you NEED to buy their daily insurance to comply. This is not true, and is just their own policy to force you to buy their insurance (which makes them more expensive than other rental agencies)

The counter staff service were very rude . They insisted that I have to show the coverage limit of my insurance . Even I called my insurance to show my coverage to $300.000 for injury and $100.000 for property damage still was not accepted from the staff service . I was forced to pay $10 extra for additional insurance . Also I Ordered Hyundai Sonata and I got a Nissan Versa with 36.000 mileage with body damage and a lot of problem in driving .
This is an scam!!!
You end paying much more than the amount quoted.
Insurance policy is the worst.
They force you to buy their insurance even when you do not need it.
And you can not cancel your reservation because they refuse to do it there and their automated system goes over and over to the selection option. Cancel your reservation is impossible.
Do not rent cars with this company, they are liars. And they don't give you the car you selected even when you have paid more than standard.
This place has 1 star reviews for good reason with their bait and switch prices doubling the online quote with excessive “Mandatory” fees most other rental companies don’t require. The manager of the store who also was my attendant behind the desk had the NASTIEST take it or leave it attitude when i expressed that none of these extra fees were specified in the booking process and blamed the booking platform.
We waited at the airport for over an hour for the free shuttle, it never showed. Another car rental company was nice enough to give us a ride to the office. Once there, we discovered that there were very few rentals available and the customer service staff was not helpful. They demanded that we carry $300k in liability insurance and provide documentation of such. We did not have it so we were told we had to purchase their insurance, which raised the cost significantly. We decided not to rent with them because of their unethical business practices.
Absolutely the worst car rental experience we’ve ever had!!
The charges that we had agreed to through Easy Rent Cars were only the beginning. We were surprised to learn that we HAD to buy RIGHT CAR liability insurance even though I produced the documentation from my Canadian insurance company stating that I was covered (add approx $25.00 to our final bill) They then proceeded to inform me that we had no choice but to purchase the SUNPASS and that would be another $10 per day of rental.
The car was less than clean when we got it and the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming!! The gas tank was at 3/4 full, when we got it also! When traveling on the highway the car felt like the front wheels were going to fall off and we were afraid to go over 55 mph.
The car rental that was suppose to be $52.34 Canadian ended up costing us over $100.00 $US when Right cars were finished with the bill!
Anyone considering renting from this firm ... save yourself some money and frustration ... rent from a reputable agency.
It was an extremely frustrating start to a vacation!! Never again!!!
Never got car, be cause guy at counter lied and said my card got declined. I called my credit card company right in front of him and they said no request was even sent let alone denied. Told him to run it again and he wouldn't. They were mad that I refused all their additional options (charges). They were also rude to me and everyone else that came into their closet of a shop.
Please train your staff on customer service 101. I was told since I got a good price, I shouldn’t expect good customer service. This was told to me by a staff member.
The pick up location was not specified in the reservation. I called them several times to pick me up from the airport. The Right Cars front desk charged me for rental insurance while I had Comprehensive coverage. They also overcharged me for unlimited toll pass. They forced me to buy it. I ended up paying 3 times more than what I expected based on the rate specified in Easyrentcars.com. It was the worse expereice that I have ever had with rental car companies.

Our biggest frustration was the return address. When entered into GPS as 2929 S Federal Hy, Fort Lauderdale, it sent us 20 miles south. We finally found it on SE 6th Ave. A map or more instruction would have prevented this frustration!
After completing the paperwork and being told that the coverage on my BMW M6 wasn't enough to cover the Nissan compact I was renting, the agent tried to tell me I HAD to get their insurance. I had called my insurance company (USAA) before my trip and they assured me my coverage was sufficient. When I told the agent (W. Curri) I would check with my credit card company to make sure everything was legit, he said he would not rent me the car and pulled back all of the paperwork. Leaving me stranded and scrambling for another car. I will NEVER do business with this company again and if asked, I will tell any/everybody about my horrible experience with them.
Terrible service, very disrespectful. not pleasant one bit, customer walked out and cancelled booking because of bad reviews on Right Cars. I agree, will not rent there anymore, rather pay higher price, with people who are respectful.
Awful local office.
Rude staff. Inefficient. Understaffed.
FYI unreasonable requirements like SHOWING insurance certificate (other companies do not require this) and $13.99/day for tolls (when other companies charge $9)
But biggest issue was rude staff.
Girl who called herself “manager” had poor communication, and when I was aghast, she refused to rent me the car.
Fine, but she also refused to give me refund.
And she supplied me with 2 phone numbers, neither of which worked. I called both eight in front of her.
When I pointed this out, she didn’t care and said to leave.
She kept my money and gave me no car and no one to contact.
It was so bad I actually took video of the process bc no one would believe it was so bad .

The windshield wipers were non functional. I was in a rainstorm driving blind. When I called to complain, Right Cars hung up on me and the lady was very rude.
Rip Off - I have never had to buy additional insurance in my over 20 years of renting cars in Florida. It is not clear that the Liability coverage has to be 300K per person as I had 300K per occurrence. I will not rent from you again.

Cars were ok it was the counter person that told us a lie. Our resorts was Wyndham just off either 95 or the toll road. Fact is, we never passed a toll booth on the Toll road or 95. He told us we would pass 4 tolls to our resort and it would cost $25 per toll, thus, $200 when we returned the car on I 95. Another lie. Even the girl working that day said the same thing. We will NEVER recommend Right Cars.
Right cars pick up was easy, but the staff was horrible to me when I had a problem with the vehicle. The AC went out and was not working. I was on vacation in Florida and the AC went out. When I called to see how I could fix the problem or get a new car I was told that I didn’t know how to use the AC and that I wasn’t getting a different car. When I dropped the vehicle off the address I was given was wrong and approx 3 blocks away from the actual location. When I arrived at the drop off, Oscar confirmed that the AC wasn’t working and that I would be refunded an unknown amount of money.
