Budget are pretty good
I buy insurance etc through QEEQ which is first class, be aware that budget like to upsell
Also pay by plate for toll’s on the Illinois web site, it doesn’t always work and budget will take payment from your card but it’s not that expensive if they do
Remember to take photographs of mileage and fuel level on collection and drop off !!

QEEQ are the way to go when renting a vehicle
I highly recommend this company
Hassle free and easy
Mostly great. However, they parked cars in the exit of the pickup area, so it was very difficult to pick up the car. We had to find someone to help. Unfortunately, they were unable to remove the blocking vehicles, but they were able to remove a vehicle on the far side which allowed us (with some difficulty) to leave.
El primer coche que me dieron estaba con problemas mecanicos serios....probablemente no estaba ni revisado...un desastre!!!
Al ir a cambiarlo (el mismo dia) fui humillada y mul mal atendida por un funcionario de Budget
The car itself was good, and the rental process was very easy and straightforward. There were only small dents and scratches on the bodywork, but nothing major that affected its performance. However, the USB port for connecting to Apple CarPlay didn't work properly, which was quite inconvenient.
Everything went well with the car, but when I returned it, I was charged an extra 50$ for fuel, even though the tank was full. I've tried to get a refund, but so far, no luck. This is very annoying and has been the most frustrating part of the experience.
Overall, the car and the rental process were fine, but the extra charge and the difficulty in resolving it leave a bad impression.

Everything perfect as always.
QEEQ makes car rental easy and safe. A must for my trips.
Upon arrival to collect the vehicle on December 5, I faced a delay of approximately 35 minutes. This was due to the unavailability of a suitable vehicle, despite making a reservation well in advance.
The first vehicle I was given had an expired vehicle registration. I only discovered this when told by the SCDMV.
Exchanging to a legal vehicle required me to take unpaid time off work, which hasn't been compensated. More than 6 other vehicles also had expired registrations.
To top it off, I was then charged (and subsequently refunded after complaining) because the first car didn't have a full tank when returned! It was not my intention to return the car - this was the only resolution available to the onsite representative.

QeeQ helped push through the fuel charge refund, thank you.
Long delay picking up the vehicle. Wanted to use it to take my state driving test, but the first vehicle had no registration document.
Budget told me to go back to the pickup location to have one issued. But they could not do it, so swapped the vehicle (after checking many others to find a legal one). Counter staff were great, the operations and support staff behind them absolutely not.
To top it off, I was then charged because the first car didn't have a full tank when returned! It was not my intention to return the car - this was the only resolution available to the onsite representative. I'm currently waiting for a response to a formal complaint.
About QEEQ:8.0/10
I've asked QeeQ to help resolve the complaint, but as yet this hasn't been resolved. Support has been 'ok' but I have had better experiences in the past.
Car did exceed expectations for size compared to cost. Wipers freezing was a significant worry. Additionally the tires skidded a few times in the snow. Was a significant worry. That didn’t happen with the exchanged hybrid dodge hornet. The tires and wipers worked well. Both had heated seats. Hornet had a heated steering wheel, not sure if Rogue did. Rogue had far more space overall. A very large SUV. Hornet was more like the RAV4 I initially ordered. I can’t really fault the service desks at all; the people looking after the mechanics of the Nissan Rogue should have done a better job however.

Great service. Was a little worried as a third party vendor but I am so pleased.
“Scammed and charged for insurance. Did not receive the car category booked.”
About Budget:4.0/10
1. They didn't have the car I booked and gave me a lower category car
2. The person at the counter charged me $280 USD for insurance after being specifically told twice that I don't need it or want it. He said it's for a deposit and charged me.
3. The person at the pickup counter kept asking for all kinds of random documents which I've never had to give in my 10+ years of renting cars all over the world.
About QEEQ:10.0/10
The booking seems to go through as a corporate rate booking and the person at the pickup counter wanted proof of my employment!
