All good. The vehicle showed some basic wear and tear . The brakes felt as though they needed tightening but were OK. Needed a lot of depression on the brake pedal. I’ve been used to cars with much more sensitive brakes.
The car exceeded expectations. I had a late flight arrival so I was able to organize with a worker to have the keys left with the Hertz rental station and this worked out perfectly.

This company is ridiculous. Due to weather issues, I couldn't return the car on the same island and was extorted for an extra four days’ fee without a refund. The rental company and their Chinese customer service were of no help.
The initial service was good, but there were some issues later on: firstly, repeated charges. I had paid the parking fee during the car rental and kept proof of the transaction, informing the rental company, but they still deducted parking fees and handling fees multiple times; secondly, illegal overdue charges. Customer service had informed me that the relevant fees would be deducted from the deposit within a week of returning the car. Five days after returning the car, the deposit was refunded to my account, but 15 days later, without notifying me, the fee was directly deducted from my credit card; thirdly, ignoring and not resolving customer-reported issues. After I reported the issues of repeated, overdue, and illegal deductions via email as required by the company, I have yet to receive any feedback or solutions. They just keep telling me to wait for notifications, completely disregarding customer needs.
I was a little concerned as I hadn’t heard of Ace before and I saw some negative reviews but I was very pleasant surprised. The car was great and clean. The pick up/drop off process was easy and without issue. Amazing value for money. I would use Ace again.

Great car for the money. I loved having a vehicle in case I want to change my itinerary on a whim, which I did twice. All the latest gadgets are there and Apple Car Play. Thank you!!
Overall service was good, but I was fined for returning the car with 10 liters less fuel, and the penalty was calculated based on 35 liters at double the fuel price. It seems unfair to me.
When booking a infant car seat, it would be great if was contacted about age of infant so they car seat was installed in the correct form. When picking up the car we waited 45 minutes for some to come and help us put it in rear facing which is the legal way the car seat need to me installed for our 5 month old.
We are also still waiting for our bond to be returned to our bank account.

They didn't wait for me, and since we were unfamiliar with the place, we spent 40 NZD on a taxi to their office, only to find no one there! Instead, they left the car keys at a hotel front desk for me to pick up. There were no buses or taxis nearby, making it almost impossible to get there. Thankfully, we met a Chinese employee from another rental company who saw our plight and kindly drove us to the hotel, so we could finally get the car.

This rental company is very bad. 1. The pick-up service was over an hour late. 2. The car they provided was in poor condition and the charging port didn't work. 3. They charged us unfairly after returning the car, insisting the tank wasn't full even though we had just filled it up, costing us several extra NZD.
