The service was enthusiastic, they proactively asked about our arrival time and arrived at the airport early to pick us up. Very efficient and the paperwork was easy to handle.

Everything was fine. You can pick up the car at Auckland's domestic terminal and return it at the international terminal, which is very convenient. The $400 deposit was returned the next day.

The car was relatively new with only 37,000 kilometers on it, a two-door Corolla. It was easy to drive the whole way, and the lane assist and backup camera were great.

Great car rental company

The car had only 5000km, it was very new. Pickup and dropoff were both at the airport, which was very convenient. The staff also recommended nearby supermarkets that open after 6pm. The service was excellent.

It's important to take photos of the fuel gauge when picking up and returning the car. The gauge appeared full when I picked up the car, but it wasn't actually full. I realized this after refueling; a full tank would cover over 700 kilometers, but the car could only go 605 kilometers when I picked it up. When returning the car, my tank showed 688 kilometers left, 83 kilometers more than when I picked it up. The rental company claimed I didn’t fill it up and charged me over 60 NZD. Fortunately, I took photos and the rental customer service helped resolve this issue for me. Based on my overall experience in New Zealand, I want to believe the rental company didn't do this intentionally, but their process needs to improve. Everything else was smooth. For Christchurch, you need to wait for their shuttle at the designated airport location. For Dunedin, simply park at the designated spot and return the keys to the counter.

We picked up the car around 6:30 due to our flight. Domestic flights to Christchurch usually land after 6 PM. By the time we cleared customs and got our luggage, it was late. The rental company charged us an extra 45 dollars for picking up the car after their closing time of 6 PM, which I find unreasonable.
