The service at AVIS was barely acceptable, but some issues were not resolved in a timely manner. The vehicle pickup process at the store was cumbersome and we had some unnecessary trouble with the staff. Although my order clearly included the fee for a second driver, the staff insisted that they couldn't find this in the order and overcharged me by $70 billion. However, the QEEQ platform staff provided strong support and resolved the issue satisfactorily in the end.

The front desk staff in New York was a handsome young man. He was very nice. The car model I wanted was unavailable, so he upgraded me to a premium model for free. However, I felt it was a bit large and was hesitant. Just then, a small car returned. I asked to switch, and he immediately helped me change the booking without any fuss. He also reminded me to drive safely and informed me that half a tank of fuel was sufficient when returning the car. This red Kia Soul is really great to drive.

The car model received was correct, but the car condition was very old, with numerous scratches on the exterior. The passenger side window could not be closed without being controlled by the driver (confirmed not a setting issue).

When I picked up the car, the staff directly asked me how many people and how many pieces of luggage I had. Knowing their routine, I asked if these questions were because of insurance. He confirmed, saying they were trying to sell insurance. Since I had already opted for full insurance from Zuzuche and had encountered similar tactics before, I refused. Subsequently, they assigned me a car in poor condition—the steering wheel was shaking. When I returned the car, staff even asked if I was returning it or exchanging it.

“Smooth and efficient booking”

We were given a complimentary upgrade and the car and the process all worked very well. Because I'm AVIS preferred I could skip the incredibly long queue in the main booking hall and go straight to the preferred desk. If I wasn't I think I would have waited over half an hour to get to the front of the queue (which we stood in first before seeing the sign to AVIS preferred)

Pretty good. Initially, we were given a Dodge hybrid SUV, but there wasn't enough space for our luggage, and the car couldn't refuel. So we contacted customer service, drove to the airport branch, and they helped us switch to a Malibu. Although it seemed like the car hadn't been cleaned before handing it to us, overall it was fine.

Renting and returning the car was very convenient. After getting off the plane, you can follow the signs to find the rental location. For returning, just drive to the designated spot and leave the key in the car.
