Drove away with 2x clear cellotape on the windshield but could take it off after an hour

They are okay. A bit passive aggressive. Insurance issue wasnt entirely their fault but this should be clearly communicated to the customer. Got told there was a disclaimer in their PDS. Ask them to show me and took them 15 minutes to find. So if it takes them that long to locate the fine print. Image how long for your average customer?

We had an upgraded car, good. The damage assessment did not show all the scuffs and dents. Picking the car up from a multi story car park and a wet car prevented us seeing all the minor damage. We took photos as soon as we saw the multiple damage but found it impossible to upload them on the link sent to us. We have our fingers crossed that the return condition is acceptable and we have not had any notification of budget receiving the car back. (Key drop off out of hours)

Simple and convenient

Budget is really disappointing. When returning the car, I was told to leave the keys in the car. I asked if I needed to go to the office for any procedures and the staff said no. Three days after returning to my country, I received an email claiming that I damaged the bumper and they need to make a claim. I returned the car around 12:50, but the photo showing the damaged bumper was taken around 19:40, a gap of seven hours. Why didn't they say there was an issue when I returned the car, but took a photo seven hours later and claimed I did it? Although I had full insurance, it wasn’t our fault and I don’t want to be unjustly charged. This was my first time driving abroad and didn't have experience. I was in a hurry and didn't take photos when returning the car. This rental experience was really terrible.

Their work style is cooperative during working hours, but it's extremely difficult to reach them after hours.

Poor vehicle condition

It's a budget car rental but so much cheaper than the usual rental places! The car was perfectly fine so it was exceptional value. Pickup and dropoff easy.

I used a few platforms to check around but QeeQ seemed to show better value cars and was what I used in the end. Actually seemed to spell things out better than a few of the others in terms of what you're covered for etc. So all up excellent and I would use again.

On the day of arrival, we couldn't get ferry tickets. They helped us modify the rental service, so we rented the same model from SNAP on both North and South Islands, as we were already familiar with it.

Great value for money. Got a brand new car with over 1000 km, high chassis, and four-wheel drive, perfect for navigating through natural parks without fear of water. The engine is not very powerful, so acceleration is average. Bought full insurance from QEEQ, and at Europcar, they only needed a $1 pre-authorization, no additional deposit required.
