Long queue and few staff at pick-up. Only half a tank of gas when received, but it was filled up after feedback.

Pretty good. Arrived at midnight, not many people.

There was over an hour wait on pickup despite only about 8 people being ahead of me in the line. It was pretty bad, super slow service, and the longest I ever had to wait for a rental car in my life.

It was easy to book and a competitive price, although the information about there being a rental counter inside the airport was incorrect.

Very quick and attentive

I had to wait TWO HOURS to get my car. This has never happened to me before. There was a long line and not enough counter staff--between 1 and (rarely) 3 the whole time I was waiting. They were slow and not entirely competent, and their systems were not working well. I will not rent from Budget again!

Fue desalentador cuanto menos, por no decir frustrante. Alquilamos un coche Tesla con mucha ilusión porque queríamos probarlo. Al llegar el coche no estaba disponible. Nos dijeron que el usuario anterior no había devuelto la llave, pero que en 20 minutos la tendríamos. Decidimos esperar. El tiempo pasaba, el coche ni siquiera estaba allí (eso nos hace pensar que mintieron). Al final decidimos coger otro coche por no retrasar más el viaje. Tardamos 1 hora finalmente en salir de allí y nos llevamos un coche que nos desagradó enormemente, por no decir que era de combustible y gastamos el doble, no tenían tampoco ningún eléctrico disponible. Un fiasco!

Satisfied, the car is new

We booked a 7-seater petrol car, but at the store, they said there's only a 5-seater electric car. They told us to either use it or come back to the airport the next day to get a 7-seater! Luckily, we were just a family of four, otherwise, it would have been a disaster! Also, the charging stations in the US are all slow chargers. We had to leave it overnight in the parking lot, walk home, and walk back in the morning! Sigh.

Great experience

This was the worst car rental experience I've ever had. The car was in poor condition and the company took advantage of my jet lag and urgency to reach my destination to make me sign additional insurance. According to other reviews, they also charge for cleaning fees, among other things. If you rent from this company, make sure to check that it is Budget—Budget, Budget, Budget! The final charge was 30% more than the rental fee. Even though I filled up the gas tank, they charged me for a partially filled tank. I was furious! When I complained, they asked me to provide a fuel receipt, but I hadn't thought to keep it. The bank transaction record wasn't sufficient for them. This is a scam, no exaggeration. I've rented cars many times in the U.S., and other companies never behaved like this one. Extra insurance, cleaning fees, incomplete fuel charges—they always find a way to charge you extra. I chose Budget because it had the lowest rate, and I regret it deeply. It was a complete rip-off. My advice: Be wary of Budget! When I returned the car, I noticed that few people rented from them, so the bad reputation is well-deserved. Be cautious, everyone!
