It was actually the EUROCAR counter at the airport. Big company, smooth service. I forgot my physical driver’s license but they still let me rent using my IDP. Returning the car was easy too. The car itself was a bit old, but still clean and the A/C worked well.

After they checked my booking details, the staff just briefly asked if I wanted any extra insurance, no hard selling at all. Then they handed me the keys and the pickup slip, explained the basics, and the whole process took barely ten minutes.

Pickup and drop-off were super easy. The rental counter is right in the airport parking area, and everything was handled smoothly in English with no communication issues.

Super easy pickup, everything was done really efficiently, no hard sell on extra insurance, and the car itself was in great shape—only about 30,000 km so it felt pretty new.

Excellent service. They recommended an electronic toll pass, basically like ETC, and it worked great—saved us a lot of time at toll booths.

1. The car was great to drive, a Skoda, and it came with a full tank. 2. The QEEQ online support team was honestly amazing. I ran into two big issues and they actively helped me sort both out. First, my flight was delayed so I had to push back my pickup time. Trying to call the local counter to change it was a hassle, but after chatting with a QEEQ agent online, they responded quickly and helped me successfully adjust and pick up the car. Second, I needed to return the car earlier than planned. I’d booked the car quite early, but bought my flight later, and in the end the only flights left were very early in the morning, so I had to drop the car off ahead of schedule. The QEEQ staff really went all out—calling, emailing, texting—using every possible way to help me arrange the early return. Even though the local counter hasn’t officially checked in and inspected the car yet, the overall experience has been fantastic!!! All in all, renting a car abroad through QEEQ feels really reassuring. As long as you reach out to their live customer service, they’ll jump in and coordinate things right away. I’m genuinely grateful!!!

Super satisfied with everything.

It’s been less than a week since we returned the car and so far there haven’t been any hidden charges, which is a relief. Just a heads-up: when you land in Milan, leave plenty of extra time. Our booking was for 3:00 p.m., but we spent almost 3 hours queuing at immigration, so we arrived to pick up the car 2 hours late. They then told us we had to pay an extra €162 to switch to another vehicle.

The car rental desk at Izmir Airport was easy to find and the staff were really patient. The only downside was that the return location was quite hard to locate. Luckily we ran into a staff member from the rental company who kindly walked us over to the right place. The return process itself was super simple and only took a few minutes, and our deposit was refunded in less than ten business days. Big thumbs up to Avis.

The lady at the counter when we picked up the car was super friendly and spoke great English. She mentioned insurance but never tried to hard-sell it. The car was almost brand new and in excellent condition. The guy who handled our return was a bit awkward and quiet, probably because his English wasn’t as good so communication wasn’t as smooth. The branch isn’t at the airport, so you need to call them to arrange a pickup.
